Hello all I am new to trials after competing in my first trial with waltham chase club on the 20th may The Hobnail Trophy Open trial Steep Marsh. I am looking at doing the Penselwood trial with the Blackmoore vale club but I can't find any reviews for this ride. So am looking for any reviews for the ride and what it is like? I am a beginner so only ride the yellow routes at the moment and wonder if the ride would suit me. Many thanks chris

With the rising popularity of Twinshocks and Aircooled Monos in UK Trials, with separate classes and the Kia Championship, does anyone think it will be extended for early watercooled Monos, say pre 1995, in the future Say Aprillia Climber/Beta Synt/Yam TYZ and the like?

I've got an entry for the Cleveland Trial, and as this includes public roads, would it be advisable to work out how to get the lights wired back onto my bike? What do most other folks do? It is road reg, taxed and insured. Will there be any scrutineering issues if no lights?

There must of been a fair few trials under the new rules that have been run including a national. How did you like riding or observing under them. Did they lead to bigger queues, are they easier to ride, is observing easier etc. etc.

It might come as a great shock to the public, but I am no longer riding a Montesa. Whilst this may only be a temporary situation, dependant on the proposed Montesa 4 stroke, I have now switched to a 290 Sherco. To be totally honest this was a spur of the moment decision. Knowing that the reign of the Cota 315 is coming to and end I thought to would be an ideal opportunity to start afresh for the new year. Having spent most of my 6 years trialing on a Montesa I am hopeful that the change might provide much needed improvement to my riding. I will report back to the forum with my honest thoughts on the Sherco and how I am getting on. It goes without saying that the Montes…

Theres a section for off road vehicles and it even mentions trials bikes. www.derbyshire.gov.uk Survey can be filled out online only takes a minute or two well worth the time to let them no we use these trails as well..
