I've been trying in vain for several weeks now to get a response from Candy Wheels. They did once belatedly reply to my 1st email, but none of my multiple phone messages both on land and mobile line. I find that the land line answerphone is now full (not due to me as I only left 2 messages there!). I've not had any reply to my follow up email either. All I am asking is how do I arrange to place my order and get my wheels collected, or in other words, "I want to give you some money for a service you are offerring"- which should be music to any businessman's ears. Perhaps they have too much work on and can no longer keep up with demand? Obviously this doesn't fill me with …

The Government consultation on this closes at the end of the month. A petition has been set up via here http://www.fightvnuk.co.uk/petition.php and there is an update here http://www.mgcc.co.uk/vnuk-an-important-update/ , which seems to be more than the ACU has communicated. The petition needs 10,000 signatures to get a response from the Government and 100,000 to be considered for a debate in Parliament. It currently has just over 12,000 so will get a "response" but the numbers are hardly likely to persuade MPs that this is an important issue. There are petitions on the site that have absolutely no chance of success but still attract around half a million signatur…

I'll be going down to this on Sat 3rd from Edinburgh. I have an empty car if anybody from that area is looking to go, but doesn't have transport. I'll be staying overnight though. EDIT: Actually or Newcastle or anywhere on A1 from there down.

I'm back into trialing after a 23 year absence. I'm looking to enter a trial, how do you decide what to enter, ie. Wobbler, Novice, Beginner? How do you find out where Trials are? I found the ACU East Midland events list, but they only state the club, not the location...!?! I know TMX news has events in it, but I cannot find it in the newsagents and I could do with planning a few weekends well in advance. Thanks if you can help a late thirties kid ease back into the saddle... (damn, no saddles these days, must get up to speed! )

Yesterday, whist out running with his wife, Leigh Jepson collapsed and tragically died of a massive heart attack. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. I had the pleasure of knowing Leigh through trials in which he completed through the schoolboy ranks, and only putting it on hold until he qualified as a Doctor. When qualified he then competed in many big trials including the SSDT, Manx 2 Day, Lakes 2 Day, Reeth 3 Day and the Scott trial. He is the only rider I know that can manage to finish the Scott within the time limit despite stopping and treating an injured rider in the process. He was a true gentleman, a wonderful person and an excellent Doctor. I am absolu…

Morning all, I guy I know is in the process of converting a huge warehouse into a skatepark and has a bit of extra space. I suggested to him he make a small moto trials area, with the justification that it can be used for pushbike trials too. Does anyone know if this sort of thing has happened before? Do you think it would be workable?
