Has anyone heard of Trials bikes being used by the military at some point? (anyones, not just ours) I recently picked up a rear wheel off fleabay which has been painted in what is best described a "sand" colour. This has been done by dipping the entire assembly, not applied by brush or spray. When removed, the metal underneath is as new. It's a Beta/Sherco/GasGas type hub, with stainless spokes and a gold coloured alloy tubeless rim. Just wondering, that's all. Mark

I’ve slowly started getting back into trials. I’m now keen to have a bash at some local events but I’m wondering what bigger events are out there I should look at? The Scott and Jocko 6 are two I’d really like to try at some point. I’ll only ever be clubman class at best. Happy to try anything though as long as it involves lots of riding! Any others?

Following on a bit from my post on the ACU forum, hoping more of you will read this and give an answer. I'm trying to find out how much you all pay for your trials. Closed to club and center. Thanks.

Well over two years on.. And I've still not got a penny back from Mark Kemp. There are many more like me losing over £2300 pounds. Yes I feel sorry for the staff but Mark Kemp - no. He begged for a larger deposit from people. He took my bike as part ex. We trusted him. He told us face to face how he'd look after us as he took our hard earned money. Some people lost two bikes to his lies. And Harrisons are earning from it as well as Mark still living in his house. I'm sure you will argue how great he still is but I, like many others have been royally screwed. At least take a card payment as a deposit if you know your about to go under rather than lie to people. And to ring…

Hay people, I have a 03 montesa, and I am thinking of changing to a 200cc of some kind, probably a beta if anything. Would anyone recomend this? I am quite a good rider at club level, but a few people have told me that your confidence really grows if you ride a 200 as they dont scare you as much lol, whats it like to ride a 200cc has any one got one?

I am newish to the trailing scene and have enjoyed Spectating, sometimes Observing and due to my lack of trailing skills have 'sometimes' enjoyed Riding some of the fantastic Trials set out within the Lancashire, Cumbria and Richmond area... sometimes flitting over to Yorkshire for a bit of new Scenery! I was a bit disgruntled by the comment I read today by Westmorland Motor Club, stating that the reason nobody knew about their trial been a pre-entry trial was because of Trials Central and the new changes! I read on the 'old' Trials Central about the Astley Trial, and i have also read about it on the 'new' Trials central! So i don't understand the comment that they are …
