Our internet is extremely slow tonight, or maybe Tom is taking all the bandwidth with his gaming. Today Jon, Pete and I went to Hook Woods grounds to ride. Do not ask me how, but I managed to get my "Troll" Tom, out of bed by 07.00 and into the car and away before 08.00. This was after he said he wanted to come and watch us and also learn a bit more and ride the Scorpa on open ground. I was well chuffed with him joining us, so we stopped to fill Nicola's car, get 2 jerry cans of fuel and some sweets (Important stuff for a growing teenager) We then met Jon and Pete at Clackett Lane services as always and popped in for a McDonalds coffee before setting off for Hookwo…

still no results from last sundays woodyard trial at reeth ,come on darlo club were all waiting and theres another trial upon us now lets see if you can get them up before richmond do for a trial a week later

Hello everyone i used to ride trials a lot when I was younger but stopped when I was 18, 6 years later i've just gone and got a beta Rev 3 270 to get back into it. Was just hoping if anyone knew whats best for my bike such as: 1. What's best ratio for the oil to petrol 2. What's the best gear oil to use and how often to change it Replays would be greatly appreciated cheers.

As the memories of the TC Trial 2004 live at the back of everyones minds who attended, the booze, bikes, lovely weather and the great experience. Just been reading last years post about the TC Trial 04, the topic was posted in Febuary as when the regs were available (so I think). Can i say a big THANK YOU to all the people in east yorkshire centre and at humberside hawks mcc who have asked after me while i was in hospital and rallied round to make it possibly for Sam to keep trialing.Special thanks to Nigel,Mark,Howard,Rich and Scooby Doo for all they've done cheers lads (and lasses).On the mend now and hopefully back riding be for the end of the year.Thanks again. Just thought that this topic deserved its posting. I would like to thank the Richmond Motor Club, the organisers and helpers for delivering such an absolute fantastic event. This years Scott was quite simply brilliant. You did not just Richmond Motor Club proud but the whole trials community. I'm already looking forward to next years event.

Hello All, Hope you can help. I have always been interested in off - road bikes, motorcross,trial's and quad's. Now here comes the question's, Before I decide to take up Trial riding as another hobby/sport I want to actually give it ago pre spending my cash, I don't want to lay out my money for something that I aint going to take to. Is there anywhere that does taster session's? So you can give it a try before you buy sort of thing. I have seen the demo day's where you can have a go on a new set of bikes etc, however with that I will need to buy safety equipment but as i previously said it then costs me money. Hello to all, I hope this is the correct place to post. My son I 7 next month and a keen biker, been riding a pw50 for 3 years, I bought him a beta mini trial last year to get into trials but he never really took to it so am in the process of buying him an oset 16. We live near Helmsley North Yorkshire and I was wondering which club would be best to join and how many conducted trials are on around the area if any one could give me any info. Also are most youngsters riding osets these days, we did watch a conducted trial last year at farndale, it was only a small turn out but all the kids had osets. Adam.

Over 100 Riders at Tong for the Horsforth Club and over 70 At the Yeadon And Guiseley Club Trial at Addingham on the same day! Both Trials had very healthy Small Wheelers entries as well. Even the Spen Valley Trial at Harden Moor the previous day in appalling weather had 38 riders! Looks like the clubs hard work with courses is paying off.

hello everyone, iv decided that im going to enter trials events in the uk this year. could someone tell me how i go about entering events please. here are a few questions: what do i need in order to enter events?? heard something about acu lisence, do i need one?? do you need to insure the bike? and what equipment do you have to have,boots,body armour,what type of helmet? thanks lewis

It must have been in 1984 (or 85) no more than 5 miles from the finish I ploughed into a deep beck and drowned my Fantic. A guy sat on the bank (miles from a section) waded in chest deep and pulled the bike out, took my spanners from me and had it running in ten minutes. To my shame I was so exhausted and cold that I could not continue and found my way back to the start field. I still think that the guy must have been miffed that his help was for nothing. Fast forward to yesterday - While spectating at (best not say where) a young lad had his chain derail and wrap round the front sprocket in a section. After attending the A.C.U. youth awards today can't help feeling that the trials riders realy don't matter to the A.C.U. The Ex road race presenter guest who none of the kid would realy know, didn't turn up untill after the awards had been handed out. But the BYMX lads had Steven Sword to give there awards out. Why could'nt the A.C.U. have got Colley or Javis to have given the trials awards out to the kids, as one of them must have been attending the evening adult awards dinner. Knowing the time and effort some of our young trials stars put into there sport, i think thay get a bum deal.
