I fancy a change of practise scenery for a couple of days. I've been to Addingham a couple of times (although not for some time) and I'd like to head over there if it's still available for practise. Who should I contact and how much does it cost?

Sorry to report that the Clerk of the course has inspected Addingham and the Snow is too deep to attempt to stage a Trial. I will Post the next trial date and a re arranged date for the second closed to club onYeadon Guiseley & DMC's website when I have it. The club hopes to see you at the next trial.

Howdy All, I am new to the site and new to trials. I use to be into the Motorcross scene years ago,but i got bored of flying over jumps and going round the same track so i stopped. Anyway,i use to look on at the riders who trial ride and think to myself, how do they get up them vertical cliffs, lol. Just recently i have been looking into trial riding and want to get involved. First i need the equipment though, any bikes you can recommend? Been told that GAS GAS are good for high end competition but if you are a beginner then get a Montesa or scorpa or even a beta.I have heard that there is problems with Gas Gas after a short time and there not built to last, wonder if …

hello matey peeps.. can someone advice me how to replace my fuel tap. im not sure if ive buggered the threads taking my leaking tap off. the locknut had a split in it and petrol was bleading through the crack. i bought a replacement tap but the threads dont want to mate together. not sure if the nut goes on first ...then you thread the tap in to the nut.....looks like id have to remove the carb and exhaust pipe to do this though...not enough room to rotate the fuel tap. ..its a 2003 bike. my wife thinks ive got touretes ....since i started this fix....and its making me cry.

Hi Just starting out with trials riding with my 13YO son. Sold our MX'rs and looking for decent trials bikes suitable for novice riders. I was thinking GaGas TXT125 and 250/280. I had a GasGas 250 Enduro a while ago and it was brilliant fun if a bit mental. But is was well built and reliable. Any comments would be much appreciated. SecondlyI am looking for a club reasonablyl ocal to Hull, East Yorkshire or North Lincolnshire primarily for practise days until we get the hang of it. Anyone got any contact details or links. Hi all, ever since i was a kid i wanted a trials bike, i used to love watching Kick start (if anyone remembers that?). Now im not a kid id like to get into trials, however the only bikes iv ridden are Honda Pedal and Pop, and a Honda CB100N road bike (used as a field bike, gypo style), so im inexperienced to say the least. I would like some help in know what to go for as a first bike, what engine size etc. Im going to have to try to keep the budget down incase i truely suck at it and end up breaking something. Any comments or suggestion would be much appreciated. oh and if iv posted in the wrong section, please let me know and i will try to move it. Ash

Well , been threatening myself with going up a class from beginner to novice . Did it today at Frodsham trials clubs Mouldsworth Sand quarry trial . Coops and i toddled off and started off at our appropriate section markers . When we worked out what was what , off i went . 2s and 3s on round one and a heap of fives in round two . The horticulture came in on round four . Cleaned section five on lap three . So went a bit ball,s out up the sandy climb which had a sheet of rock thrown in for a bit of fun , oh yes the tree . Hit it , dragged a long large limb down , tried in vain to clear the leafy bits from my vision, then it grabbed me and tossed me side ways down a …

As a former patient of the Air Ambulance, can I urge you all to sign this e petition. Which is asking the government to return the v.a.t that the service pay on fuel. This would help the service carry on their excellent work. Hope the link works ok. https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/29349 Thank you

Another Air Ambulance Program and more Trials riders been lifted out of nowhere. Just watch "Air Medic's" third episode "Stranded". Richmond Trial and Nigel Sharp stars!!!!! (Mind the pilots and nurses all refer to a "Trial" and the Prat script writer keeps referring to "Moto-x".) Available for the next three days on the BBC iPlayer.
