More than half way done. Speaking of half, here's a shot of the other half of trials. The ladies. You won't find her sitting on the sidelines, no sir. More than half the guys will look up at the board and see their name behind good ole number 27 in the 2007 SSDT program guide. Let's not forget, she's got a pair of family members hovering around the top ten too. Young Girl Sunt is my photo of the day.

While the top guns and young kids are just getting started, today's the day where the clubman riders start to look a little worn out. Some even wonder if they can last three more days? With that comes my shot of the day. Again, if you're not a TC supporter, pay up or you're out of luck.

It was a tough one. You had the guy giving Andy the finger - Or the dude that's helmet was half cocked, he looked tuckered out, and his tongue was hanging out. Still he managed to hang a great photo op. Here's my shot of the day!

I was looking through the day one results and noticed the name D.Thorpe. Is this the former 500cc MX World Champ David Thorpe? I looked around and couldnt find anymore info.

Be advised the main A82 trunk road will be closed at 10pm tonight between Tarbet & Ardlui (Loch Lomond). The road will not reopen until 0600 on Saturday morning. The main diversion route is via Inveraray on the A83 trunk road. There will be no closure on Saturday or Sunday night, but from Monday until Friday next week the road will be closed at 2200 and will reopen at 0600 the following day between Tarbet & Ardlui (Loch Lomond). I may be in Fort William from Tuesday and because of the usual budget constraints and the need for a good nights sleep (4 hours sleep in 3 days last year after sharing a room with 2 very loud snorers) I will be camping; if anyone else is camping, what site will you be at ?

Due to a cock up (It's not your year is it Dennis?) a friend will need a lift back to Glasgow to be at the Airport before 9.00am on Sunday the 13th. Alternatively is anyone able to give him a lift South after the presentation on Saturday night? We've had an astonishing amount of last minute cancellations for this year's SSDT, mostly due to injury (you're a careless lot!!), which means that over the past fortnight every rider who contacted us to stay on the late reserve list has got an entry. That's great, but we've had a further four withdrawals today! If you were on the reserve list, and still fancy a shot at the trial at this late stage, get in touch with me and we'll get a place sorted for you - they'll be allocated on a first come, first served basis and you'll need to contact me by email if you're keen - I'm on the road now, so telephone and fax aren't options! Is there any Riders List and Route Maps/Section Location available online for the Pre-65 Scottish???

Ah well time for the abuse to start... Pre 65 and first weekend is looking pretty good from the Pics below 4th: Dry long sunny spells, 15 to 18 degrees light winds 5th: As above 6th: As above but a little warmer, 17-19 degrees 7th: Again as above but warmer again 18-20 degrees its a pretty settled pattern and the longer it stay that way the better however the latter part of the week doesn't look that great at the minute but remember that's nearly two weeks away. It's likely things will start to break down Wednesday/Thursday wet becoming cooler and showery after that.....more to follow before I leave on Thursday.

I've had contact from Guy Smeeth, the lone Canadian entry in this year's SSDT who has a little bit of a logistics problem. His flight gets into Glasgow airport around 1pm on Sat 6th May. The next bus won't get him into Fort William until it's too late to do any work on his new, untested bike. I've checked train times and that's the same. Is there anybody passing through Glasgow around 1:30pm on the Saturday heading for the SSDT who could help him out with a lift? If so, please PM me or email me trialscentral AT trialscentral.com
