  1. Started by no jive,

Here it is again. Every year I do the 4th of July Parade in my town. It is really a big hit. This year everyone asked were you on Americas Got Talent? HMMMMM Im to old and fat to be on that show. But goes to show how many people watched the Smage Brothers and how they made an impact on trials. Cody came out and did an afternoon parade with me and put me to shame, even I was speechless. I will try to put some video up of that. The crowd was going nuts with his riding.

The U.S. men's team is composed of riders Keith Wineland from Fountain, Colo., Bryan Roper from Glendale, Ariz., Karl Davis Jr. from Ormond Beach, Fla., and Eric Storz from Ventura, Calif., with Andrew Oldar from Aguanga, Calif., as an alternate. Young Patrick hit the ground running today to take the penultimate round in the US Pro Series. He can relax tomorrow in the final round. (Like he ever lets up?) Good to see Will Ibsen in the list today, taking a solid third after Cody. Seems he ain't lost much riding skills while in school!

Pat takes round 5 from Cody with a 26 to 41 score. After 2 loops Smage totaled 11 to Webb's 22. The pro shoot out also had Smage prevail 15 to 19. Pat had trouble with shoot out section 4, taking two 5's. With two second place finishes, or better, I'm calulating Patrick will regain his #1 plate, then hang up the helmet and boots, riding off in the sunset of fame to fortune on America's Got Talent.

While Chris Florin and Keith Wineland were the national tv pioneers a few years ago, tonight on America's Got Talent, the Smage Bros. try to impress Sharon Osborn, Howie Mandel and that windbag, Piers Morgan, in New York. Any predictions?

Just got a phone call from Northern Norm. Back-to-back wins in Pennsylvania for Smage. He says one more victory in Tennessee and Patrick will regain the #1 plate.

Hey All, Just a quick note to say that I'm spending the week in Moab and my friend from the Vancouver area of Canada rode my Montesa today for 5 minutes and asked me to find him one. You guys were awesome last time so I'm asking for leads to help me find him a nice [not riden by anyone who rides like I do] 2004 or newer Montesa 4RT. Here's a little snapshot of the type of riding you get here. If the link doesn't work simply go to youtube and search "moab razorback" Please send Montesa leads to rinogmoto@yahoo.com Thanks!!!! Cody over Patrick with a couple slack fives! Also notice the lack of our National #4 rider, Ronnie Commo, as it seems he is out a sponsor due to cutbacks, pity! I hope he can get an OSSA ride or something soon. There are some young guns coming up the ladder and working hard, but they gotta get to the next level. http://mototrial.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/TX_All_1.pdf

This will be my second year in trials and I ride the intermediate line at d-6 events. How do the NATC sportsman and support sections compare to the d-6 intermediate line? I

I am proud to announce that the (I think it is USA/Canada) clublist' has been revived. Thanks to the efforts put forth by these guys: Bob Clancy (South Mt. Web Design) and Trev Clancy (Trialdogmotorsports). Direct link is http://www.trialsclubs.us/ I didnt look yet, I think it will also be linkded from NATC's site... No I havent been there in a couple weeks. If you have information about clubs, dont be afraid to share it! there is a link to email bob & Trev. If you notice non working or old information, it is because nobody seems to know the current info. So,letting someone know is good, especially helpfull if you know and if you can give the "good" info. …
