Just received my 04 Duluth world round DVD, only watched the first day so far, but what a cracking trial. The rain may of spoiled it for the spectator, but the sections were brilliant in those condition. Doug, looked to be riding spot on, the crash and a five after, that! I would of put down to being shook up by the crash, then a chain off between two little rocks in a stream, just wasn't going to be his day no matter what he did. Best looking trial English type trial I have seen in another country, won't miss 05 thats for sure. Ho and get the DVD by trials TV, well worth it!! yours is on the way Kinnel.

At the last WW in Duluth, we find our hero (Ringo) outside the facility during the event, however, not by his own choice. Not being satisfied with the "reasons" that I was given for this spectacle, I did a little research and have been able to piece together the truth, or at least we're a little closer to the truth, with the new found evidence we have to work with. I'll start from the very beginning, for those that might not be up to speed... Rrrrring: "Hello and I'm not interested." "Sendero! It's me! Ringo! Dude, I am in big, big trouble." "Trouble?" "Yea. This is big." "Did you get caught poachin' Gerbils again?" "OH SHUT UP!" "OK. OK. What's up?" "I got boot…

Barry Florin of the FTA forwarded the thought last year, and it has probably been thought of in the past,,,, But here it is again, and now is the time to put it in place for the 05 season. Let's put together an East coast US series. Lets string it together from well established club events that are popular and well attended and have good facilities. Let's work to get some sponsorship in place for it to help it, and those events along. With some cooperation, and a minimum of adjustment on very few folks parts, I believe we could do it readily. The goal would be to assit the folks that are trying to make the transition from club level rider to National level rider …

The event began just a short time ago. Here's section 1. Pat took a clean, as did most riders. A shuttle is needed to get out by the sea-side sections. That doesn't leave until 11 AM. It's cold and very windy today.

Would all champ class riders please let me who are planning to attend El Trial? I know the national schedule isn't very user friendly this year and I'd like to know prior to setting up the Sunday exibition sections. Lord knows if you guys don't show up I'll have to do it and I don't think we have enough protective gear to pass out to the crowd. regards on behalf of the American Trials Association, Ringo

First of all a huge thanks to MONTESA and GAS GAS for delivering riders for El Trial de Espana. Congratulations for putting on a great show for the all the people that made the trip! Of course we all understand the logistics and costs for sending a rider to El Trial this year was less than desirable and that's why were sure that the teams that did not send a rider and intend to compete in the TDN will more than happy to use the money they saved to support their riders themselves. After two days of El Trial competition: 1st place Chris Florin on Montesa 2nd place Geoff Aaron on Gas Gas 3rd place Cody Webb on Gas Gas

My 8 year old son Ty got to do what many of us have been wanting to do for years, he got to ride his motorcycle in the school playground! He had been telling us that he wanted to do a Demo at school for a while and we thought they would never go for it, but one day my wife mentioned it to the Principal and she thought it was a great idea! I wasn't sure how it would go. Would the kids get trials? Could an 8 year old do anything to impress them? Where they going to think "this is stupid"? Well as soon as he started the bike the kids where "oohing & aahhing" so I knew it would go pretty well. He did some balancing Then he rode over some obstacles and then…

For the second year in a row my 9 year old son Ty who is now in 3rd grade got to do a trials demo at his school. This time Ty wanted to do it on the black top since last year he had a hard time doing nose wheelies in the loose play ground dirt. I also set up a little section so the kids and teachers could actually understand what is we do. They even got to see him "5" the section the first time since I put a large wooden box for him top hop up onto with nothing at the bottom for help. He hadn't seen it before and took it a little too easy the first time, he did clean it on his third try. It was fun to stand back with the kids and listen to all there comments. Eve…

Stealing the idea from the other thread. We've talked about a trials bike with a seat for comfort on the loop and trail riding. What about a serious competition machine based on a trials bike used for endouro cross. Something similar to the Montesa with the seat in another thread. Of course it has to be convertable back to a trials only machine. Probably needs a little bigger tank too. The seating position needs to be set up for competition though and not necessarily comfort (maybe height adjustable).

I'm laying out 8 miles of enduro trail for a future event, I have no Idea what enduro riders are capable of riding? This is on my home turf, I have many logs, roots, nasty single track! How brutal should I make? Would a stadium section be appreciated, setup large tractor tires with on/off ramps, possibly a car or two, Any suggestions? sam

Anyone see that Trials bikes will be moved to a different class next season? Our boys will no longer be given the chance to compete against the best in the business unless they ride Moto X bikes. Along the same path Moto X bikes will not be able to run Trials treads any longer. I just lost all interest I had with this upcoming sport. Aaron
