USA Trials

MAV-TV is running the FIM World Championships both Inddor and Outdoor. So far I have seen Corsica, Australia, Italy.... Outdoors plus the full X-Trial series. This is the biggest exposure our sport has ever had in the US. Spread the word. I realize not everyone gets MAV TV but most companies will add it for just a few more $. Hey Dude, Congratulations on your victory this weekend!!! I've been waiting for this one for a while [not as long as you]. You've worked hard and shown incredible spirit, strength and I'm proud as hell to be associated with you. Maybe it's time for the rest of you "My child is gonna be the next world champion" soccer moms to take a second to pay some respect to this kids accomplishments of late. While your looking at yourselves in the mirror, Cody is out there kicking some serious ass, including the 23 time national champ Geoff Aaron. Today we had a Parade in town. I figured I might as well get a car and have some fun. The local tow truck company scored me a car. When I showed up and warmed my bike up my clutch went out. Luckily it was not slipping. But I could only ride over the car one way. A few people took my phone number who are interested in Trials (at least I hope so). The crowd was very responsive with yelling and cheering. The photo is in front of the tow company so not many people there. Hi all, here's the latest items to watch for on TV, specifically 2-wheel Tuesday on Speed Channel. Hope you get it. Last Wednesday, May 19, Speed filmed a neat segment on trials riding by a group of roadracers including 1993 world motogp champ Kevin Schwantz and Formula USA and WERA champs Trey Batey and Michael Martin. After 2 days of instruction in roadracing at the Barber racetrack, the roadrace instructors came to the Trials Training Center to become students of trials riding. Those guys are good! Speed channel will have a really nice segment on an upcoming episode, probably on Tuesday, May 25. That segment will be a nice lead-in to their coverage of the World …

Who is going to endurocross. I will try this topic again. I will be the one sitting with Segfreid and Roy maybe Craig. The icegirl cant make it. His parents would have to take him and his bed time is 10:00 PM sharp, so he would miss the last race.

On the Todo Trial site, www.todotrial.com on the Clasico section, there is a news story that Bernie will riding at an event in Spain next year along with a recent photo of him. The english translation is not so clear but it says he's in good shape from mountain biking so I guess he's going to be riding this vintage event. Maybe someone who speaks Spanish can translate better. It's been a long time since I've heard anything about USA's only World Champ. Has he ever ridden in the US in the last 20 years? From what I know, since retiring, he stayed in Europe, married the sister of another European world round rider, and switched from motorcycles to mountain biking.

So this showed up on our event insurance (along with the wrong additional insureds). Trialsmaster clarified with Birdsong insurance if someone falls in a puddle we are not covered without additional insurance. 🫤 So if it rains and you don’t get the additional coverage you are not insured.

Hi, just wondering if anyone who may have watched Pats video has any comments. Watch it once for the rear wheel moves then next time try to pay attention to the impressive Wisconsin scenery,notice 90 % of shots are from 2005 . His footage differs from Balancing Act 1-4 in that there are way less Splatters featured. There are a few heavy duty crashes that are interesting.

This is about as far as the other side I could find. Can anyone tell me why the british media - or shall I say paparazzi are in Chicago covering the Lord Conrad Black trial? Why is this guy a big deal, other than being a billion dollar media mogul crook? And how are they going to find a jury of 12 peers? The only other billionaire I know like him in Chicago is Oprah. Oh, and speaking of paparazzi, I'm told no one got a photo of him entering or leaving the federal courthouse. Maybe I gotta go down there today and show the brits how it's done?

july 27th is old school vintage's first vintage event with our new club! hope some of you vintage riders will check it out! it's part of the mavt series, it will be held at morgan valley farms in williamsport pa. (actually nippenose valley) there is camping and food and a really good event laid out! hope to see you guys there!..............john
