We're stranded in Orlando because our flight to the UK was canceled due to the volcano last week. Are there any trials in central Florida this weekend? David

Thanks to Chuck Weir and the AMA for the letter of apology for not including the youth age group national champions at the AMA Sports Banquet. It was a big evening and one where oversights can happen. the kids were disappointed not being brought up with the senior adult group winners. They are tough at that young age and chances are they have not given it much thought since then. Your letter is greatly appreciated, it was a great evening.

I spoke with the organizers today and they want to get the word out that the recent fires will not effect the upcoming ARIZONA NATC NATIONAL JULY 27 & 28. Online entries are open here https://secure.mototrials.info/ http://www.mototrials.com/ Also the weather at the trial site is expected to be in the mid 80's. Altitude is 6000'. Here is a link to the event info: www.centralarizonatrials.org/

The Central Arizona Trials (CAT) put on a first class National this past weekend. Great organization, terrain and section were tops, only 4.5 hours from LA, cool 70 deg days and occasional thunderstorms, I thought I was in Colorado. BUT..... the turn out was low. Only 65 riders. It would be good to know why turnout for western Nationals is low. Please give us your opinion. Martin

Just a note to say if you hear someone with a strange accent at a trial in the second half of the year at a trial, it might be me. We are flying into LA on the 4th of July and intend to purchase an RV and drive up the West Coast, then across Canada then back down the East Coast then work our way back to LA. We will be staying until late January 09. I hope to drop into a couple of Trials if I can organize it. If anyone is aware of a good place to purchase an RV in the LA area, or a place to avoid I would appreciate any advice.

I've had a couple of US users make contact following the site upgrade with login problems from swbell.net/com addresses. I have tried responding to these users to help resolve the issues, but AT&T/swbell are blocking emails. I've contacted them, but as usual in corporate world, no response. If anyone affected can make contact via an alternate email address we can get things sorted out.

Way to go Ringo, for stepping up and taking a shot at making the Eunduo-cross night program main events. I've got to congratulate him for aiming high and going for it in Vegas. There are two roads a rider can take, the first is the build slowly road. Ride with the local guys and work your way up and maybe someday shoot for glory. OR jump in with both feet and sink or swim with the BIG DOGS and Johnny did the big jump. Way to go Ringo, that took courage. Why I like the second path of jumping in with the Big Dogs is you can compare your lap time or score with the best. It gives you an oppertunity to reveal what you need work on and maybe, just maybe you will. …

Although you guys vary on your opions, one thing is certain and that is your all pretty much passionate about the sport and have interest in promoting it. So, let me throw this question out there. Can the sport, by that I'm referring to events, handle an increase in attendance? I ask because it seems more time is spent waiting at sections, and getting finished in time seems possible only if you rush. Maybe its just me?

Not to advertise another site on this great one, but a group of us are trying to form a National Trials Council (similar to the Natc) that would work with the CMA. You can find all the discussion about this topic on the message board of www.trialscanada.com Your participation and opinion is very important! Please get involved! Cheers, Steve Fracy

First off, let me give you a big thanks for giving us the Americas Cup back. Next, I've always enjoyed your TDN team, you are a fun bunch. Question, why is there no OZ round of the world trials championship? The contenent of Europe hosts over 80% of the world trials championship. Why not spred the rounds around a little more? I've been to Sidney, there is some great trials riding mountains just outside of the city. You guys could do a really great world round. What's the story?
