Hello, I recently acquired a 1985 Canam 320 Trial bike. I’m looking to source some parts for it. I’m in need of a stator with the flywheel, aswell as a front fender. Anyone know where I might be able to find atleast the stator so I can get it running?! It’s a Hiro Sammy Hiller engine

Been working for several months on this restoration. When I got the bike it was pretty rough, it had been sitting outdoors in boxes and was pretty rusty and person I bought it from had put it together , but not very well. I have rebuilt front forks, replaced rear shocks with OZO gas shocks for trials, replaced front rim, it was real rusty, replaced gas tank, it had rusted through bottom and person had epoxied the inside, yuck. Tank I put on was from Ebay and had light rust inside which was fixed with just plain old vinegar and some pea gravel and knocking out dents and a little Bondo. Hi All, Starting a project on an ‘89 Aire. I don’t have the forks to go with it so looking at my options (budget friendly). I’ve never tinkered with or even ridden a motorbike so don’t have any knowledge to go off. What are my options of forks/wheels? I assume getting something period correct will be my best option for getting something that will fit? Is it just a case of making sure the forks fit with the 35mm yokes that I have? Or if I get a full set with different yokes is it just headtube dimensions to check? I.e if theres upside down forks that I can find. I’m not overly fussed about making it factory corrects just looking to get it usable so don’…

How popular were these air cooled mono shocks back in their day? I had one in 2002, my first trials bike. Feeling a bit nostalgic, I`ve spent the last month looking for one and I`ve only found two for sale, one of them had half the engine missing and a seized crank. Are they/were they really that rare?

I just got the most modern bike in my stable a 1990 Fantic 307. Are these bikes any good? I know nothing about them. Up until now I have classic machines in my collection. So far I like the bike but my wife likes it even better so I get little time on it. Any one out there have one? Hello, I am a 59 year old that has ridden motorcycles for years. I had a 1986 Honda TLR200 Reflex and a 1997 Gas Gas Contact 200. I would like to get into riding very easy trials type riding in the woods around my house, not competing. Used trials bikes in my area of Northern Indiana are hard to find and I would like to start tinkering around in the woods asap as this COVID-19 stay at home order is driving me nuts. There are two within 90 minutes of my home. One is a 1975 Yamaha TY175 ($1,400) and the other is a 1974 Suzuki RL250 ($1,000). Both seem to be in the same shape. My question is which one do you think would be the better bike for me?…

This month we will have the german round of the Eurocup(round 2 and3)in Hergenroth http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hergenroth on the 24/25 of July a week later we will have the belgium round just down the road(150 Kilometers) in Bilstain on the 31 July and 1.of August. http://www.rdmcbilstain.be/ so you can ride 4 rounds for the pre 65 and Twinshock Eurocup in one week.It is worth the travel. In case anyone didn't hear this sunday's Talmag Trophy Trial, the big annual pre 65 British bike meet at Hungry Hill, Aldershot has been cancelled due the MOD withdrawing the land

I have a couple of bikes I would like to show at Malvern next year and I would quite like to do the autojumble too. I missed it this year as I was on holiday, I am about to book my holiday for next year and don't want to miss the show - does anyone know when it is being held yet? Cheers, Jim

Any one know who won or has individual results from last sunday?

Having trouble deciding which class to ride for 2010 do i ride the bog standard HT5 in the the pre unit springer class on the easy route or the slightly more modified HT5 in the British replicas on the hard route. Is there any point riding the bigger bikes at all? or maybe they should have another Unit and Pre unit british replica class on the hard route?

As anyone seen the riders list for this years trial,the website is still showing last years stuff.According to the regs this info should available from the 23rd ?

This is the video I shot at the vintage trials in Eastern Oregon yesterday. I suspect the landscape is a little different that our European friends encounter. There is deep sand and when there isn't sand there is deep powdery dirt. I only ride about two trials a year so I get rusty over the winter. At least that's the excuse I'm going with. That and I'm getting older (yesterday was my birthday) and I had no intention of getting too hurt, which is a why I skipped that one section. I was going to post this in the Trials Video section but I thought the classic people would appreciate it more.

Has anyone had experience of putting a 249cc motor into a 240 frame any what modifications are required. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
