Hi Guys I am at the early stages of getting a 1974 Yamaha TY250 into a usable condition I have put a new carb on it and an electronic ignition and now it actually runs I thought it might also be nice to be able to stop it so will be fitting a kill switch - the question is where do you feel is the best location for it ? It's a normal press button type but I have seen them fitted on the left hand bar - on the right hand bar and even in the middle between the two bar clamps I would be interested to hear your feedback in regards to the pros and cons of these locations

have a session on Google and came accross this excellent Austrian web site which along with some great pictures of Alta, Gaunt and Collier Suzukis, has (in German) some information on KTM trials bikes, with some pictures of bikes from 1975-77. Looks like there was a works team at the Scottish, but love to know if there are bikes around in the UK, or if anyone rode one ?

I am off to the Lincolnshire Poachers trial at Wickenby Airfield in the morning and just Googled "Wickenby" to check where it is when I came across this poignant reminder of our recent history. Now just described with a few statistics this airfield is lost in our memory but with Remembrance Sunday just around the corner it seems fitting to remember all those lost in war to give us the freedoms we now enjoy.. ""300 wartime operations were flown from Wickenby with 160 Lancasters and 6 Wellingtons Lost. The memorial at Wickenby commemorates 1,080 aircrew who lost their lives flying from here. From September 1942 to September 1945, "12 Squadron Bomber Command" with …
