Hi, I have just started having problems with my bike, it is an 03 rev3 200cc. the bike used to go fine, but I went out on it this morning and every time I got above about 1/4 of a turn on the throttle it started spluttering and pinking and all sorts. The bike runs fine otherwise below this speed with plenty of power. The spark plug has a white residue on the area where the spark jumps across. I have tried a number of spark plugs but not a new one. I have also tried resetting the float level slightly higher incase it was fuel starvation, but I have not started messing about with mixtures or ignition timing yet. my beta zero is a jordi tarres signiture special ? with the signiture on the frame . does this add value ? have you seen this before? just wondering for wen i sell my bike what will thew value be its a tidy bike 1990 year. ?

just seen the new 2006 beta yesterday, looks great i suppose, if you can really change te look dramatically on the same bike. the thing that suprised me is that the plastices are matt black, from pictures i thought they were going to be silver again with different stickers. the headlamp, unbelievable, looks even worse that before, i think they must have been watching a documentary on the stealth fighter jet when they designed it. but in general it does seem to be the same old beta with a few new stickers.

Hi! New to all this trials business! Just purchased a Beta, was told it is a 1989 TR34... Could any of you confirm this for me? The back end of the rear mudguard is CR250 item.... COMPLETE BETA ITEM WANTED!!!!!!!! The tank is fibreglass(??) by Acerbis USD forks confusing me whether is TR34 or no....... Thanks!!

I bought a beta zero of my dads mate When I took the plastics of I discovered they was no brake fluid (front and back), no water, the air filter box was thick with mud. I took of the top when I cleaned my bike, but I think I got water down the air tube into the carb. I shoved a few rags into the tube and got the water out but I think they will still be dirt and dust in the carb. What should I do? Also I oiled the filter and it looks ok. The other thing if it had no water it properly has no gearbox oil. Can any 1 tell me how I can top it up and, list a few other things that it properly needs. Tires are set at perfect p.s.i and are brand new Thanks

I recently bought back my '00 250 rev 3......... well to make a long story short I've been going through it.?.!..?..!.... and I've found that the mid pipe has worn a sizeable divot into the gas tank ! Has any one ever worn through the tank? So far I've took a die grinder to the weld on the mid pipe and added some asbestos type muffler tape to the tank. I think this will be sufficient . Just wondering if any one else had this problem

I am going to a trial on sunday but i have a big problem. I have just put a new bottom end on my 94 techno and ridden it around the garden but it only selects 1st and 2nd. Does anyone know why it wont change any higher.

help! i have a rev-3 250cc year 2000 and the spark plug has gone (its knackered) but iwould like to know whats the best, performance wise to run it on, i think its a denson w20 epr-u that came out although the markings are badly worn. Also if anyone knows where i can get some new graphics for it that would be spot on, i have tried everywhere to find a set. Cheers

have recently notice my gearbox oil has turned white??? have chnaged oil seals, water pump seals....but still have got white/grey oil. any ideas guys. btw - its a Beta o3. many spanks in advance.

My Beta 250 2003 makes slappings at the time or slow down the accelerator, engine hot. These slappings make me think of auto-ignition. The level of tank of the carburettor is good, jets 150 and 31, the spark plug is normal, the engine is powerful. If somebody knows a solution, thank you to indicate it to me.

bought this on e-bay 6 months ago.restored it to pretty much as new,don`t ask how much it cost!! the biggest problems were rear wheel spokes and caliper seals,other than that it was straight forward - many thanks to all at john lampkins for there help.

what gear oil is best ive been using pj1 but it does not seem to last long. before i have to change it because gears go very dificult to select on my 97 techno. ive just rebuilt engine with all new bearings and seals, piston and cyl replate and conrod kit?
