Hi! I'm new to the sport and recently bought a GG txt pro. I would like to connect the speedometer but can't find any connections under the tank. I might be a bit stupid but it seems that some cables are missing. Regards Henrik from Sweden

hi new to the trials scene,picked up a gas gas 250 pro was led to beleive it was an 07 model as this is stamped under rear plastics,the vin number reads vtrgg2802e1030370 i have searched the net but cant find much info on it... can anyone shed any light on this any help much appretiated as need to order some service parts..

Hi I’m looking for the correct flywheel puller for my 250 & 327. I’ve been told it’s a M30x1.5 but this is far too big. Also I know there are at least two types of the Motoplat electrics. Mine has a module adjacent to the Cdi with 3pin and 2 pin connectors on it and I know there is another larger module with wiring coming out from it with floating connections. Which is the later? Attached are the Flywheel and module photos. Both my bikes are 1989. What are the Timing settings for both bikes please. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2007 TXT Pro and have a no spark issue. I have checked the usual earths, kill switches, spark plug new, cap new, still no luck. I have downloaded the Ducati ele diagram but no values on it. The Kokusan diagram has the values but not sure its the same for Ducati . As Im in Slovakia I cant take it to a specialist in UK until October. Does anyone know the resistance and voltage values to check the stator and trigger coil. Then if its not the stator has to be cdi or volt regulator.

Hello, I have just bought GG TXT pro 2007 with a cracked clutch case (kick starter issue - already done), and also checked the clutch. It appeared that it doesn't have clutch bush and screw. Those parts are holding the clutch unit on the axle and prevent axial movement. My local GG dealer said that they are not essential, because clutch is not moving, because the bearing holds it. And newer models doesn't have this part at all. And it is not possible to order those parts now... ( MT280232080, MT280232081). It all looks fine, but my old clutch cover has some scratches from clutch unit. (pictures below) So should I get those parts somehow? Or they are not n…

My clutch basket (the bolts holding the basket together) appear to be rubbing away the inside of my clutch casing - any ideas what could be causing it. Also, is there a special tool for taking off the bolts?

Can't figure out what year my TXT300 is. I've read many of these and it says the 10th digit which is M.... no idea what M is though. Any help is appreciated. I'd like to sell it. Thoughts on price? Runs great. VTRTG 3003 M120 6138

I have a 1995 JTX 250 and am having a few issues with the clutch I have removed clutch assembly and cleaned all parts also have checked and both pushrods and bell bearing in between are present I have bled clutch out I have adjusted leaver but still the clutch does not fully engage or disengage I have noticed the small ball bearing in the space cylinder has been pushed back into the cylinder so my question is do i need to replace the cylinder and seals or can I do something else to make it work better ?? Please help if you can it is fully appreciated . thanks in advance

Hello, I have my clutch pack at 9.74 mm for a 2009 Pro. From what I read the tolerance is 9.75 to 9.85. My finger height however is at 10.50 I find the clutch slips in 5th and 6th gear. The steel plates I have fitted are 1.5mm and 1.6 mm. What do people suggest, I don't want to make the clutch too heavy but obviously need to stop it slipping. The finger height seems to be quite out of range.... Thanks in advance. Gary

The short story - the threads for two cylinder head bolts are stripped in the cylinder barrel. The bitter story - DO NOT buy torque wrenches from Amazon. My question to this esteemed body - should I replace the cylinder or try helicoil or some such repair? If it is to replace, OEM or third-party?

There are incorrect descriptions both in the paper manual that came with the bike when new and also the PDF owner's manual for 2006 Gas Gas TXT Pro. I noticed this the first time i had a look at the manual. There might be more wrong stuff in the manual for what i know. Is it typical for Gas Gas to have incorrect info in the owners manual? Does other years of Gas Gas TXT have incorrect info as well? Have a look at the 3 pictures posted below. The pictures below is of page 20, 22 and 29 in the manual.

I ordered a load of parts from Gas Gas UK including a cylinder base gasket. I have just had a look at a parts list which shows there are four sizes available, I assume that Gas`Gas will have sent me the correct size for my TXT 250 pro?? Also does it matter which way up the gasket sits (printed side up / down and should it be fitted dry or lubricated in any way. Thanks Beeaj (thank god for this forum!)

Hi guys m I’m hoping to get some opinions here for a problem I have with the bike. txt 280 2021, not done a lot of hours. I’ve got a real splutter/misfire coming off closed throttle to 1/4 throttle . I’ve stripped and rebuilt the carb, new o ring seals everything , but the problem is still there . so it’s pointing at the electrical side now I’m guessing . My cdi pins are pretty furred up, so I’ve cleaned them , but still no joy. can anyone else recommend where I look ? Is there a way to test if the cdi unit itself is the problem? I’m checking all my earths and connections now . any advice appreciated .

They sell complete new decal sets for trial bikes on eBay for a cheap price so i wonder if any here on the forum have put on these new decal sets? I have an 2005 Gas Gas TXT 125 Pro that i have been standing since 2017 without being started. I tried to start the bike today but it would not start. The first thing i did was to check the for spark (which is okay) After that i took off the airfilter box and rear fender. I found an old hand pump spray bottle which i poored gasoline with 3% oil mixture in thinking of spraying fuel in to the carburettor. I am aware that it is supposed to be 2% but since the bike have not been started for a long time i decided to use 3% oil mixture. So the first time i tried to start the bike i sprayed in 2 spray pumps with fuel from the the spray bottle. This wa…

On my Gas Gas TXT 125 Pro i have a 9 tooth front sprocket (if i counted it correct) and what i think is a 46 rear sprocket. If i go for a 11 tooth front sprocket and a 49 tooth rear sprocket will i notice any differnce? I must say that i have a feeling that i will not notice any special differnce if i replace the front 9 tooth and rear 46 tooth sprockets with 11 t and 49 t sprockets or am i wrong?

I see there’s been quite a few advertised updates for the 23 and on models (not sure if there is any difference between 23, 24 and newly announced 25 apart from cosmetics). They look cracking. But can anyone report on whether the differences are enough to warrant upgrading from a ‘21 model? How different are they and do they start any easier? I’m talking the 250 model TXT Racing predominantly. Considering it as they look lush but wondering if they are worth an early upgrade. Sportsman/Clubman level rider so nothing adventurous. Interested to hear any reviews, good or bad.

Sorry for my first post to be this one guys but I'm at a dead end at the moment. Had my top end redone because of low compression, and since then I haven't been able to run the bike. As soon as it gets warmed up it just cuts out? I've changed the carb,CDI, spark plug checked the wiring ect searched multiple times for post on forums so thaught I'd ask myself. Any input would be greatful thanks guys

Hi all, i have got a gas gas 321 2001 with rectifier/fan issues, i get ~10v ac from the voltage regulator, then at the rectifier when input the multimeter on the red and black wires to and from the fan (with the fan disconnected) i get ~25 to 30 volts, which is going to cook the fan pretty quick, when i earth the black wire i get ~ 10 to 12 volts, not sure what is happening there if anyone has had similar issues ?
