Got a bit of a weep from the braketech clutch master Cylinder, it's coming from the piston rubber. Is there any thing I can try before I spend £50 on A seal kit

Can anyone advise where I could get one of the small nuts that secure the top headrace bearing on the OSSA Mar? From what I can see it looks like an M20x1mm or 25tpi. Thanks

Well, I heard another rumor that OSSA may be back before next winter with 2018 bikes! of course, it is always 'we will see' but this one seems it could have a bit more truth than some. Anyone heard anything lately? Mark

I have recently bought an Ossa having decided I needed a project and fancy a go at twin shock trials. How do I find exact pictures of the bike, details age etc. I noted from a member earlier that the frame and engine numbers should match and date the bike. They are different but similar: B-234300 & B-231300, I didn't know if I'd miss read it but am fairly sure they are different. Can anyone help?

Help!!! I'm in the process of rebuilding the front wheel and am having problems respoking. I've done all of the inners and one set of the outers but the last set don't line up with the rim, they sit about an inch away from the rim. This is the side opposite the brake side. Can anyone explain where I've gone wrong? The only explanation I can think is that there is an offset, but there didn't seem to be one when I stripped the wheel. Cheers in anticipation, Nigel.

  12. I believe the carb on my 72 OSSA is a Makuni (VM26) . Cleaned the carb completely and for the most part the bike runs pretty good with the exception of a sticking throttle and good idle some times not good other times. The throttle linkage isn't new but seems to work real well. Most of the time the linkage works freely and I can hear the slide shut but sometimes it gets stickty. Is it possible that my internal carb spring is too weak? Just in case it matters for some reason, I am not able to get the the adjusting screw that moves the slide to make much difference no matter where it is located. I seem to be setting the idle with the linkage fine adjust at the top of …

Restoring 250 OSSA (believe it’s a TR77). Fork stanchions are pitted and could do with replacements. They look like Betor 35mm but the stanchions measure 610mm, replacements stanchions for TR77 are listed as 585mm. Anyone come across 610mm stanchions fitted to OSSA?

  14. I think I'm the proud new owner of a 2015 TR 300i.... but it won't start sometimes. The bike came with a 9v battery. I was instructed to push the button prior to kicking. Didn't take long to realize the 9v doesn't activate the fuel pump so I put a little 12v in. Pump runs and logs 21 psi - max. Just kicking the bike I can get to 21 psi after 3 kicks. Right..... what's the pressure with the engine running ? Don't know - the barb off the fuel injector housing broke while I was carefully trying to disconnect the fuel line to check pressure. Two questions... Anyone know where I can get the replacement housing with the barb and 2). Has anyone defined a minimum amount o…

Hi Guys I need to get the sleeve off the crank (clutch side) on my 350 Gripper. There´s a Puller "Ossa special tool" to do this, has any one seen one of these for sale or know where you can get them ? If no longer available does anyonee have experience with getting the sleeve off with other methods (theres no room to get a puller between the main bearing seal and the sleeve) ?

Here's a question for those who understand port timing - which I don't Having a few problems with gear selection set up on my '75 310 MAR. Under the bench is another 310 engine I picked up about 25 years ago. It's a later engine from a green bike. I stripped it to compare selector mechanism and set up but whilst apart I thought I'd compare porting as I'd heard that the later bikes were different. On the 75 bike, the inlet port measures 25mm top to bottom and is 25mm high in the barrel (from bottom of liner to bottom of port) On the 79 bike, the inlet port measures 20mm top to bottom and is 30mm high in the barrel On the 79 bike the port is also narrower in width but I…

I really dont like that the kickstand/sidestand locks in the up position. The idea is OK, but I want to put it down with my foot rather than have to reach over and put it down by hand. I suppose I could weld a tab onto it, like I did with an old gasser. Has anyone modified this? What did you do?

I have a problem with the tool-box panel on my Ossa Mar. It clearly becomes hot from the exhaust pipe behind it and the paint keeps blistering. I have smoothed it down and re-painted and wrapped some heat deflector material around the pipe but after a short run it's as bad as before. Does anyone have a solution ??

Bit of a stupid question, but when you put the nut securing wire on the mar clutch, do you route the wire through all 5 posts or wire them individually
