I’m needing some new trials pants. I tried on some mots, although the waist was fine, they assume my legs are like chop sticks. It felt like they were sprayed on my legs, like skinny jeans. can anyone recommend some makes of trials or enduro pants that are a bit baggier, more of a comfort fit for us who don’t have such an athletic figure?

  3. we've got quite a few new members joining the club so thought i'd whip up a quick guide for the club's website. posted here in case it's useful to others, but also would appreciate any feedback and suggestions as i'm still only one year into trials myself - thanks in advance. it's just meant to be for newcomers and avoids getting into specific brands.... New to trials? There's no rush to buy expensive trials gear and it's common to see new club members using the same protective gear they use for dirt, adventure or even road riding until they get an idea of what they'll need to buy. We will just cover the basics without getting into specific brands of gear. Until the 19…

Hi Folks, i'm new to riding and just getting kitted up but i can't find trousers/pants in my size, most companies finish there sizing at 38" i have found one company going to 40" waist, i would like a 42". i am sure i am not the largest person to ride a trials bike, i know the wife says i should my be seen in Lycra but never the less i would like the right gear. Any advise of where to shop in the UK or online for world wide shopping? PS. I think some one needs to tell Hebo XXL is not 38" waist Cheers Paul

  10. Hi all, I fitted a brand new apico lanyard switch to my mates bike this week and it has failed (stuck closed circuit) within the first ride today. After removing the switch from the bars to check the connections underneath it started working again... Has anyone known an issue like this before? Is it possible that the part from eBay is a fake? Any pointers greatly appreciated!

Thinking about getting a new helmet and seems Airoh is the "in vogue" helmet nowadays, but does anyone have a Jitsie HT2 FLO carbon, looks nice but doesn't seem to have as much vents as the airoh.

Ok I'm new to the whole trials world. I need to get a pair of boots since I will be competing in the near future. I have no way to try on a trials boot before I buy them. Should I try like a motocross boot or an enduro boot to get a general size? I want to get alpine stars if that makes a difference.

Anyone else think trials gear quality is poor! Bought new 2 pairs of hebo gloves in janauary they fell in bits within a couple of months bought the new trial gear pants had to be restiched shirt as faded and looking tired gloves they also have fallen apart new jitsie jacket I got in march zip as given up! I find that it is over priced and poor the only positive I have is that my gaerne boots have lasted about 6 years!

I need narrow boots (US "C" width). My Novogars are too wide; I feel like I have a loose connection between my feet and the pegs (that's also a great excuse for having a poor ride!). I've read all the boot posts and it seems like all the leather boots are great for wide feet. I haven't found any comments about the width of Alpinestar or Sidi. Thanks.

  19. Started by tightwoods,

I am getting back into trials after 25 years. All of the trials specific pants that I have seen seem to be skin tight and not designed for wearing knee braces underneath (i.e. for young riders with good knees). Vented MX/Offroad pants are too heavy and bulky. Does anybody make well-ventilated trials pants with room for knee braces? Thanks.

Just spotted these last night and bought a pair for myself. Can't see them lasting long at that price? Much Cheapness I'm not trying to assist in promoting either the website or the seller, just pointing anyone who likes a bargain in the right direction. GJ
