  1. http://www.raptortitanium.com/trials-footpegs/product/listing.html Their website is still running showing trials footrests as well as a picture of Emma Bristow on the Sherco.
  2. http://www.terryweedy.com/tanks.html He produces more types of tank than are shown in the link
  3. Whilst searching the web for oil info for my trials CubI found this interesting article http://www.realclassic.co.uk/techfiles/oil030319.html
  4. Thanks Jon V8 maybe I need to reconsider the oil type but which, there is nondetergent and low detergent in a straight 40 plus others on the opie website.
  5. Couple more questions Brucey & Jon V8 are you both using a multigrade oil, I am running with Silkolene 10/40 semi synthetic in my Cub as I think surely a modern oil in an engine which has been rebuilt and is therefore clean inside, free of sludge and other impurities must be better though a local rider friend suggests that no oil filter and a straight 40 oil would be best? With the filter fitted does the oil pump fill the filter with oil and push air from the system so no airlocks.
  6. Need to measure up now to see which type of oil filter might best fit my bike, it has an airbox under the seat so space for a filter is limited.
  7. The small hole on the engine side of the needle block is the pilot circuit there is another in the inlet venturi (body tube) to allow mixture into the engine when the slide is closed. Best to use an airline and not poke anything in to parts of the carb.
  8. https://www.dellorto.co.uk/product-category/dellorto-motorcycle-carburettors-parts/complete-carburettors-dellorto-motorcycle-carburettors-parts/phbl-20-to-26mm/ The info you need should be on the above website.
  9. Brucey I had an engine breather tube arrangement on my Cub similar to the one you have but have recently added a reducing elbow which fits just below the front of the seat with the duck bill vertically down the seat tube, this should prevent anything being drawn up the breather pipe by the engines pumping action as the flattened tube end allows air to escape but then closes shut again. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TEFEN-Food-Grade-Nylon-Hose-Push-In-Fittings-BSP-Thread-Hosetail-Pipe-Connector/263052673373?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=562055206839&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-ROYAL-ENFIELD-DUCKBILL-BREATHER-PIPE-140167/253233201241?hash=item3af5e00059:g:M88AAOSwSypY~V6o
  10. Thank you Jon and Brucey I am impressed by both filter installations. Each just tucks away on the bike.
  11. Thanks Jon, do you place the magnet into the filter housing?
  12. Am thinking of adding a return line oil filter to my Triumph Cub trials bike, any recommendations of a kit or supplier anyone?
  13. http://www.mid-atlantictrials.com/Instal.html I followed the sdvise given on the above link,my 250 Bultaco Sherpa runs great on the OKO.
  14. Your bike is quite a rare model in the UK, why not keep it as is and get a Sherpa to restore and ride.
  15. Looks very much like a Bultaco Pursang hub to me, the one on which the wheel can be turned through 180 then the sprocket moved from the opposite side and bolted around the brake drum which then moves the brake pedal to either the left or right side of the bike. Gear shaft protrudes each side of the engine so a gear lever can be fitted either side but the lever shape differs so a different one is needed for each side.
  16. http://www.meridenoffroad.co.uk http://www.upbuk.co.uk/shop/ The above links may be able to help you. Tidy looking trials Cub, most 199cc Cub engines used for trials are fitted with Dellorto or Mikuni carbs simply because until recently Amal cconcentric choke sizes started at 22mm which is just too big. The Zenith carb fitted to many Cubs when they were made was 18mm. Amal concentric carb production started around the time that Triumph stopped making the Tiger Cub.

If iyour bike has been washed using road traffic film remover or a cleaner based on that then that is the reason for the colour change.
  18. I am unsure about that but the ratios fitted to the different models are probably about the web somewhere. The 11/46 seems good to me as you do not have the hassle of the reduced nut which is required for a 10t gearbox sprocket or a massive rear sprocket and the overall performance seems ok for the sections I have ridden. Does your bike have the dished rear sprocket or a flat sprocket conversion.
  19. 11 / 46 on my OSSA TR77 Verde, original fitment would I think have been 11 / 42.
  20. Another vote for Villiers Services they ride trials themselves so know what is needed to make a 32a perform properly.
  21. Best to lightly oil or grease the seal before fitting same for sprocket before fitting it through seal. If you are using a 17t engine sprocket the seal is thinner than that for the std 20t. Villiers service tools you will need are the locking comb, peg spanner and hub tool http://villiersservices.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7_76 these are not too costly and certainly worth buying.
  22. Good to see an original spec Greeves Scottish in trials use, it even has the toolbox fitted. Is the Greeves Moorland blue paint the original finish, I also see what could be TES forks fitted, what changes if any have been made to the bike I notice it has the Villiers carb also the plug lead comes from the mag case so presumably the Villiers ignition system as well?
  23. Horses for courses is an old saying that probably sums up your question, make sections for the bike then you can enjoy riding it. Then it makes the build very worthwhile.
