  1. For him. But like i said, if he doesnt want to do it then theres no point. Just a waste - Funny how nature deals its cards... I wish life was all about having fun but it aint for most, but having the talent to achieve something big and then doing it beats all I think. Just look at the face of Alexz on the photos of him winning the SSDT. says it all .... IMHO
  2. Its a tough one this. I for one feel that if someone is gifted with a talent, its a travesty not to use it. There hasn't been anyone in US trials for years with this much talent, so to know it has the potential to become world class but its not, is very disappointing But saying that, if Pat doesn't want to do it, then there's no point but its still a shame.
  3. Yup Big John, some of these posts are really confusing !
  4. Paddy says to Murphy... " Hey Murphy, help me with this Jigsaw! I'm having a bit of trouble with it. There's this big picture of a tiger on the box and I cant do it" Murphy says, " B'Jesus Paddy....... put the Frosties back in the packet will ya "
  5. As he's a scot and we are talking generalisations here, he must be p****d!
  6. In what respect do you mean about rolling his eyes?
  7. Regardless of the problems of Dougie & Browny, Alexz still had to go clean on the last day to be sure of his chances of the win. He done that under immense pressure and also with feeling a bit low on his form of late in the FIM word rounds. That was a very special ride and very well done to him

    Thanks

The whole online SSDT experience this year is just way way better than before - the new ssdt website and blog is superb - cabestany's helmet cam, all the info and pics on here. Love it all . Great job to everyone involved
  9. Yes its not obvious as drop down menus normally have the top one null , so you need to click on the top one that says results like the pic below
  10. well stop griping ! do something about it!
  11. If Pat became World Champion in a sport that the US have done nothing in at this level for years, then handled correctly in the media/publicity/marketing etc, the return could be HUGE! So its extremely sad to see that he's not doing the series! The first time the US get a chance of a world champion for years and its over before its begun! just don't understand it
  12. And how often do you do that then Dabster?
  13. Thats the point I was making earlier. It certainly shook it up a bit but for those riders who slate it for being too easy, why didnt they go round it clean then?
  14. Looks like he has it all sorted and fair play to the new team - Well done
  15. Looks like his head, ambition and drive is sorted! went clean today and won convincingly and now heads the Junior Championship Table ! Well done - Results Front - Page Day 2
  16. On paper it looks like a good idea - the only thing is someone will have to pay for it?? hmmmm, now therin lies the problem !
  17. Looking at the results for the second day, looks like what I thought would happen with 'easier' sections just did Results front page - Day 2
  18. Dougie can still ride a bit dont you reckon? all those peeps who wrote him off btw, it looks like this trial was set out like i mentioned in another post. set out for Bou to go clean and then give others a chance which looks like what has happened here maybe? The FIM should look at this trial and see why the scores came out like they did, and apply what they have learnt to the series. It will make it much more interesting IMHO
  19. Looking at todays results, looks like i got my wish! Link from front page
  20. HAHA , I know a few women who have done that (for neutrality, the men who have done it wouldn't admit to it )
  21. If peeps think that Bou is the problem then the answer is so simple its unreal, Instead of setting out the trial to make him lose around 30 points, set it out for him to go clean!. Then instead of him winning everything on his superior technical skill, the other main factor of any sport will play a big part which is the state of mind. Every section he will have to concentrate so much so as not to even lose one dab that it will be tense and exciting. The other competitiors have something to aim at looking for him to make a mistake that they can pounce on. As it is now with section severity at this level, everyone else is riding for second place. Bou can make a big mistake and still feel comfortable of the win. So i think WTC is currently one dimensonal with too much emphasis on just technical skill without considering other human (and possibly engineering) factors. IMHO
  22. Thanks for the insight TFT - really interesting
  23. Maybe Big John can help with this coz I found it quite interesting
