As the question didn't say WORLD governing body and it didn't denote a country, you could argue that the quizmaster is correct to say YES ( unless you are putting a big emphasis on the 'the' in the question). but... its very ambiguous so I can see why the discussion got a bit hot
-
So! if the price is no more than a mont, and she rides like she looks, how many peeps would buy one then ?
-
I dont get the upside down forks though. Apart from the valid comments about damage etc, it puts more weight higher up and you want the weight as low as possible to aid stability?
I cant help but be impressed that in the current financial state of the planet, there are some bold businessmen out there willing to do this stuff. Fair play
-
Wow! This is how its done A proper formulated management team with proper funding/investment and a decent engineer given a blank piece of paper and this is what you get! Ive read everything there is so far released and totally impressed. They even timed the release to perfection by completely overshadowing Sherco.
With what I have read so far about this team, It wouldn't surprise me to see Raga or even Bou on one at some point!
All other marques must be really concerened looking at this!

Things we know about this government-
[1] Gordon Brown is NOT a leader. He jumps from one sound bite to the next and reads the morning papers at breakfast and what ever is the big story, he gets his advisors together and announces a new policy statement by the 6 o clock news.!
[2] It spends money like its going out of fashion 4% increase for employers and employees for NI contributions has seen what exactly in improvements for the NHS? ( I design medical packaging and the way procrurement works in the NHS is 20 years out of date in my experience )
[3] It has NO Vision Do you know what Labours vision for the UK is? Does anyone know?
Things we know about a Conservative government
[1] David Cameron has potential to be a good leader - but not proven yet
[2] It Doesnt spend loads of money and chooses to give money to people to use how they see fit in tax reductions ( although we may need to see an increase to pull back labours reckless spending )
[3] It has a vision Putting the importance back into the family unit is one that is always at the heart of conservative government thinking. Solid fiscal control is another. Labour inherited one of the best financial positions from John Major and now will pass over (if the cons get in) the worst fiscal position of all time.
One other thing that conservatives do is look after and encourage business. This is a good thing! coz thats where all our jobs come from after all

Weve got the game and I agree with everything above from Wri5hty.
Also, I made a comment back in March 2008 about growing trials through the development of a computer trials game - here is the post Linky
I am certain it will have an effect on trials proper if this is handled correctly
-
Lets face it, there is only ever 2 riders who can ride the top route and win - maybe now and then Fujinami and Fajardo pop in for a look, but here we could have a lesser rider technically, beating Bou or Raga by using some nounce and tactics.
There needs to be a way to make it possible for others to win to make it more exciting. It needs to become exciting to entice more of a following to attract a wider audience for commercial purposes.
Its broken because there is no money and never will be unless it creates more of a wider appeal. I wish I had the answer but it needs something
In relation to getting riders to the top, they need to train with the very best ( Bou and Raga of course). It would take something very special for our riders to better them without this.
-
But thats the point - The WTC IS broken. After all , thats what the FIM think and thats why they are changing it.
-
I reckon the FIM should be bold and go for this. Prating around with the rules and going non-stop is gonna make sod all difference. (except p*** off the riders its already got)
-
Yeah , what Dabster said - why will No Stop bring in spectators?
-
HAHA - That's a result of being in the design game. Always looking for something that's better and if it comes along then I change my view instantly. This is an example
-
No, pat him on the back and give him some support -
SAY NO TO NO-STOP FOR WTC
Where do I sign ?
-
The concept of the Gate system is just so right for WTC. Nothing else comes anyway near it - I hope Raga succeeds with his petition
-
Ok, its been tried once and they didn't like it - lets give up then as usual
-
I think the gate system for the WTC is the way to go - It would be very very exciting to watch for sure and would require nounce not just skill to win. Absolutely love the idea and I hope they drop the no-stop thing and go with the Gate system for WTC !
Club trials should be left to the club to decide what is best for the punters it serves.
-
Everybody has spoken about either no stop or stop=1 - Is that the limit of the trials worlds imagination?
You see time and again in riders reports of when trials are too easy, that the riders complain that if they lose a 5 then they have no way of pulling it back. So surely one of the best and most exciting ways to liven up the top end WTC ( and still have it open to the lesser mortals) is use the Gate system. I really don't know why this hasn't been seriously considered ?

What I found worse than releasing him, is the reception he got when he got back to Libya - Now that was sickening to the core to witness.
-
You would think the easiest way to reduce costs would be to ban minders completely - no one in the section besides the rider with no Radio's either - man & machine against the elements - on his/her own!
But... how would they be able to attack the big elements without minders?
Again, this change puts tremendous pressure on section design & severity. You could argue a case that the riders should have MORE minders! simply because if the sections are similar to what they were doing this year but with a little more run up, then how the hell is the minder going to get round the section fast enough to be in all the key places?
They haven't thought this through me thinks!

Now that MUST qualify as an Olympic Sport for sure ! ...... and seb coe if you listening, get it on for lads for LONDON 2012 .. mucho appreciated like
