  1. Hi Baz, It was good seeing you and Heath today but I didn't get to have a go on the Beta Rev4 Maybe when you get one I can have a go on that Echo your sentiments about the trial - They had it spot on
  2. What!! you mean like this?

    Beta Rev-4

This must be some sort of joke? all those comments about the Beta and no you have seen the light! His happy pills have just Kicked in......... Well I said I wanted to try one Baz, thats a way off from saying I would buy one
  4. Hey Baz & Heath. May see you down there then as the wife and I will probably go down and give Ross some support

    Beta Rev-4

Where could I get to try one in the west midlands anyone please? I aint waiting for the Sherco 4T to get sorted. Time for a change
  6. Your maths look good to me
  7. Picked this comment from another thread regarding the Sherco 4T's performance causing Jarvis some lost marks and possibly denying him the win. Firstly, obviously, I am interested in the Sherco 4T as I have stated that if they get it right I would buy another so hearing the above leaves me asking the question is this bike sorted or not? Secondly, How did the Beta 4T do? I know Pascuet done well. Anyone? Thirdly, There were a lot of 4RT's there.. they all seem to have gone well. Anyone with any stories on them worth noting? Lastly, I know that Ross' & Bert's gasser 125's went ok all week and thats some achievement considering the little motor had to work so hard. Any 2 stroke news worth noting as well?
  8. Have you spoken to Jarvis and has he stated that? If you haven't then your statement is impossible to qualify in my opinion.
  9. This year, A fourstroke wins the Indoor WTC and now the SSDT and one is likely to win the outdoor WTC too. Fourstrokes are Back Disclaimer - Obviously, the riders on them have to be pretty good
  10. I am too puzzled by Geoff's performance this week. I really expected him to be quite a way up. Finishing outside the top 50 surely does not reflect his true capabilities? Either way, I am glad he came and made the effort. It was good to have him here and I hoped he enjoyed it and takes away some good memories
  11. Being a Sherco man and with Jarvis on the 4T as well I would normally have wanted Jarvis to win but this time I agree with you both, I would like to see Atom take the second spot. He deserves it with his last day score of 7 (only bettered by Joe Baker on 6). Awesome
  12. The provisional results are showing Atom above Jarvis? As he had a better last round does that mean he has pipped Jarvis. I also have enjoyed the coverage and the live results have kept me watching it like a hawk! Great effort by all concerned. I too will be up there next year for sure..... Business will have to take a backseat for a change
  13. Well with the provisional results now in it stacks up like this. Dabill 21 Brown 35 Jarvis 35 Pascuet 43 MacDonald 43 Wigg 44 Colomer 48 Morris 48 Hemingway 50 Thorpe 61 Baker 61 Not sure how the count back works ...... anyone ??? Well done to James Dabill and the 4RT fourstroke Well done to Browny with an excellent last day score Well done to Alexz Wigg. Impressive first attempt Well done to Ross & Bert keeping the JST GasGas 125's going all week Well done to everyone else who finished p.s The Sherco 4T made it to the end as well
  14. 6 sections left to come in and positions stay the same with Ross pulling 2 back on Shirty (today). All the others stay the same .
  15. Hmmm - its looking a bit unlikely at the moment - He's had a few five's on the inward sections. very slippy he said Shirty is 9 points ahead as I posted this. Alexz and Jordi Pascuet have been having a battle all week as well and too close to call. Pasquet is currently 1 point ahead as I posted this Browny and Jarvis tight as well with Browny 1 point ahead as I posted this. (based on published results - 10 sections to go )
  16. John Moffat's your man for the Wiki - nobody can compare with the amount of knowledge he manages to stack up. I've no idea how he manages it - he's done a sterling job on Nevis Radio this week, and has provided us with a fair bit of entertainment throughout! Atom - come up here and see the SSDT for yourself - you'll soon understand why the BBC don't televise it! There's very few sections they'd be able to lug their equipment to without going to the excesses of helicopters and suchlike, and as JD pointed out on the radio this morning, it's a relatively small market which wouldn't justify the costs involved in covering it. I am definitely going next year. I still think that the BBC could cover some of it. Have you seen their remote equipment they use ? Its nothing like it was in the old days. Very portable When Dougie retires from WTC and does the SSDT then maybe they might get interested ?
  17. I was wondering whether someone with some serious SSDT knowledge should write a Wiki for the SSDT. It would be great reading I am sure. Also, I have been going on about the SSDT at work to customers/suppliers I have been seeing this week and none of them knew what it was I also think its an ideal event for the BBC to cover and televise and as they are struggling for sports media they can afford, the SSDT would be relatively cheap ...... as long as the contract doesn't include paying HL's bar bill for the week
  18. I have never seen this site before - Great find Scott .

    Kids!

Yes, the 'kids' are doing the business. The difference maybe because all those riders you mentioned ride, or have ridden at world level and the experience is invaluable. Also, the pecking order is generally how it has been in youth trials coming through (since I have been watching it anyway). I hope dibs hangs on for the win but I think the one that stands out the most is Alexz. You have to admit that for a first time out his scoring is remarkable displacing many class names on a daily basis. Well done Ross had a good day yesterday(Friday) dropping just 6 which is his best performance of the week. Also improving his position on a daily basis. He says he is enjoying it although he's done over half a dozen front flips over the bars riding through the bogs between sections
