Nowt to do with me! It's all Fergus The Technical Genius here in the office!
Well Fergus, you're doing a great job that man
One minor observation, The web page says 'Scottish Six Days Trail Results'. Thats a keyboard typo I make all the time.
-
Trials for Christ I have heard it all now
-
Cheers for that HL
This is pretty cool updating the results like this LIVE! (or near as dammit ) All credit to the people who are making it happen.
Do you think you could go to a much smaller event (The WTC ) and show them how to do it too
-
Will explain all once results out - no time just now!
Ok No Problem
-
It's when they come up with a tray of drinks. We knock off 10 marks per glass.
-
HL, I am avidly watching the live results ( which are great by the way ) and noticed that some of the riders scores reduce after a period. What causes this out of interest please?
-
Did I mention in a previous thread that I thought Alexz might do well?
Didn't think he would place higher than Jarvis though
Long way to go.........
p.s. What time does this page get updated normally? http://ssdt.org/sitebody/modules.php?name=Results
-
Great tuition website http://www.trialstrainingcenter.com/
Give it a try

The question was who can topple Jarvis?
Whoever Jarvis is going to take some beating. Arguable on current World Championship standings Dibs is the man. But there will be strong competition from Colomer, Brown, Amos and Ben Hemmingway.
I know it may be a bit premature being his first time, but I would think Alexz has a good chance of toppling a few riders you would expect to finish above him. He is on his 300 Gasser. He is certainly fit enough. He is riding with Wayne Braybrook and Shirty so plenty of experience on hand to help out and the sections should be within his capabilities. Not withstanding a big problem, I predict a good finish
I am not suggesting he will win but he could have a good run at it.
IMHO
-
Andy, is he talking about you?
Back on topic
-
Well you're right about educated, wise and astute. I wouldn't necessarily agree about being a commentator though. Ex footballers get those jobs and they are just so good at it!
However, if you would enlighten us on the real causes then I think the country would only be too grateful
-
jimbo.
WE have so many hooligan's running amok on mini's over here because we have an idiot called Tony Blair running our country (God we will be under control of brown soon and he look's like he should be living under a bridge some where) anyway blair took all power away from the parent's to keep the kid's in control, clip round the ear never hurt no one, cant do that now you'd end up in jail.
In general there's quite a lot of ridding area's if your in the know that is.
It's just the high profile ridding area's that are getting hit.
That is the biggest load of b*

Theres pro's and con's with all the bikes isn't there? like I said above( a few times), everyone to their own.
-
Who said anything about improving scores?
Let's put it this way Ian, you bought a 4-stroke and got stuffed by Sherco (who released the bike before it was ready). I took the same gamble as you but bought a Beta 4-stroke that has not let me down at all. In fact, I'm so confident about the bike's reliabilityI'm going to throw it at a load of Scottish rocks next week
I just wish I had the same confidence in my own ability to last 6-days...
Anyone who buys a 4T over a 2T has my vote matey
Good luck in the trial and I hope someone gets loads of video for us to Laugh look at! Rather you than me
-
Having had 3 in 3 years and not one mechanical fault, I can understand your choice.
-
LOL - I wondered how long it would take you to emerge once I mentioned a 'certain 4T owner' !
I canna wait to see how the new 4t Beta improves your scoring
Like I said, everyone to their own.
Still unsure about the trip up yet slapshot - it will be a last minute thing if I go.
-
Some people will come on here and swear by them, especially one certain person with a 4T But I am with you on this Neo, having ridden a few of them, I have never seen anything about the bike which would make be buy one. Weird that!
On that note, I was just reading another recent post asking how to get the airbox off without dismantling the bike Another post from a little while ago documented a well known member trying to fit the carb assy back together. 3 hours later he gave up!
But saying all that, peeps who have them just look at these problems as a 'minor annoyance' and nothing more.
Everyone to their own eh

Has anyone seen the T+MX this week. Not that I bought it of course, wouldn't do that But Dicko makes a comment about 'ill-advised posting on websites relating to the issue'
I really think he is the one who is Ill advised in this instance! and another thing, I thought he was a trials enthusiast . If that was the case, then don't you think he should unite with the online Trials community and combine forces for the better of trials?
No, he didn't do that, he took the opportunity to have a pop at Trials Central because he is a bitter man with his own interests at heart.
If Addingham gets opened again, I strongly believe it will be a combination of the efforts of this site and its members working together with the interested parties. Sadly, T+MX aren't in that category.

Is one allowed to be English these days?
I thought the correct terminology was British. One wouldn't want to make any non-English Britons feel uncomfortable, it wouldn't be politically correct.
B*****ks ! That politically correct enough for ya
-
I can't get excited about St Georges day anymore.. after all, what is it to be an Englishman in this day and age?
-
Good ol Dave Clinkard - he was the top rider in my area ( Bordon Hants) when I were a nipper. Gary Hunt use to go on about him all the time
-
Not wishing to sound in any way derogatory towards the home event, but is it better to get a top place in a World Round or ride in an AMA/NATC event?
-
Hi Noel,
Good to see Pat out there giving it a go What was his thoughts on it by the way?
-
Couldn't agree more. It should be in the ACU rules for sure. Never understood why it isn't.
Also, White for easy is a must. The reason I think this is because you need to make it as easy as possible for the them and therefore white being nice and bright is the easiest flag to see. Especially when its in the the cover of a wooded area.
IMHO

Get your butt up here Beardsall, you know you want to
Yeah, I would like to go - Will decide at the last minute.. Basically after I have checked the Weather ( The southern woos that I am ) even though Beardsall is a solid Yorkshire name
