Just got to mention that it was great to see Patrick do well in Guatemala. He's a great lad from a wonderful family and could be that champion the US is looking for.
Craig, who is coming over to Hawkstone to watch him?
Cheers

Just running through the results, I think what Alexz has done is truly remarkable. He's a stocky guy and that 125 has to work some to get him over those classes of obstacles and yet he completely dominated very very good riders.
This round - Gubian scored a credible 53 for 4th place and you would say being close to Browny was an achievement in itself, but when Alexz nearly halved his score on the second lap it is just completely outstanding. It just shows how fast the lad is progressing
Very well done Alexz

Thats a sure fire way to smear the windscreen!

Ok, so you think the crime is pretty bad eh? well maybe you just want to take a look at the uk. London has the highest crime rate for any city in the world!

Sounds like they had plenty of 'camping' going on in the toilets matey
Anyway, I'm coming out of retirement to ride the trial (its that good !) just waiting for the regs to arrive
Spud is making the trip up to ride as well and see if he can take that
-
I am reliably informed that the scenery is quite something. The trials terrain is as good as it gets, and yes, CK is right.. there are loads of women looking for that wealthy man to whisk them away... Andy, you missed your chance
-
Can't wait to hear your views on it especially as you will be in a position to give a good comparison to the Sherco 4T
-
You wont be disappointed with an 06 290 Gaz. The suspension is way better
should work better than this matey
-
I would have probably been fine with a 250 but the reason I went for a 290 is because I was advised they are easier to sell.
-
I mentioned it on a previous thread but the 2003 290 I had was an animal and too much for me to control at the time ( as it was the first bike I used to get back into trials), but the 2006 290 I had last was way better as standard and I loved it . I don't see any reason why it should be messed with for a novice/inter rider....... but saying that, people will still attempt to 'tune' it to their needs ( or perceived needs ). People will always try and 'improve' the machine to accommodate their riding style in the belief it will make them better, when more time practicing correct technique will do more good.
IMHO
-
Are you finding the 07 not to your liking as standard then? I had an '03 290 and that was snappy but the '07 is really smooth as standard. I too ride novice stuff and I found it a great bike for power delivery and traction
-
Mine use to do that too. Makes hell of a mess
-
I am hearing a lot of good things about this bike. When will we be able to ride the 2008 demo's? Probably not for a while but would like to know
-
This is a great piece of free software from Google called Picasa - Get it Here
-
Just watched that vid section 7, I am not sure what benefit it gave but it was just blatant cheating in my book. I suspect though, if they were doing it, then so would the others. This is what makes 'Professional' trials a joke. It detracts from the amazing skills they have when this type of thing is done. It needs sorting out. !
-
Looks great - Sell it to me
-
-
HA HA - Good 'ol global warming for ya
-
All fair comments - Well if he can do it, this will have to be the year
