I was on a 250 went to a 280 and its rather nippy sometimes feels asif its pulling away from you as the day gets on when your tiring abit , id go for the 250 nice and smooth and easier to control, im deffinatly off back when i change my bike.
  4. cheers iv had it saved as a favourite for ages but stopped working it had /new/page1 infront of it :S so not sure cheers anyway
  5. Need to ring up Gas Gas or shirty for something but their site is down just wondered if anyone had the number handy as i cant find any paper work i have it on.
  6. If you have enough room then you can lay it down and take it out with out draining like HAM says , upto you really...
  7. Id go for the 250 iv moved up from an 05 250 to an 07 280 this year and im deffinatly dropping back down to the 250 when i change my bike it seems like the 280 is always pulling away from you even with a slow action throttle on. just my opinion though but just to warn you.

chavtastic? haha i think its physically impossible to make a trials bike look chavvy they always seem to look good what ever you do to them i suppose. Think iv got a few pics of modified bikes il have a dig abit later.
  9. Wouldnt it make sense to look on the gas gas site first i know i do for anything gas gas related first before asking.. plus iv just got one well comfy
  10. Maybe you should tell your mate to get his eyes tested because you can clearly see that it does say Gas Gas .. and what have you actually done to the logo? are you even allowed to modify the existy logo?
  11. Hahaha how thick can you get?

Not been funny or anything but what are we looking at ? is it all the bits of metal or something or that it looks rather wet?
  18. remember when you posted all the pics of your bike boofont , really nice how much did it go for if you dont mind me asking ?
  19. Id use proper coolant if i was you.
  20. Aint that down to how well you look after your bike? My 07 fine ... *touch wood* And yea obviously make sure the bike you feel suited to is in decent condition and has been well looked after of course.
  21. Best advise ever ... is to not listen to anyone else and go ride them yourself , all bikes will/can break just depends how good you treat them and look after them really.
  22. not sure who won , but dougie cracked on , he was 1st back , cant remember who was 2nd , and dibs was 3rd in ... although depends what their score was..
  23. Thats not what hes asking so ur answer is pointless? Id go for the 08 are you really going to realise the difference if you have different swinging arms? and you can always get a different shock if you dont like it but think no one else has riden that bike if you get an 08.
  24. yeah id deffinately get something smaller than the 290 its not about size of engine in trials you can still do the same basically on every bike if you have the ability , and the sherco 290 from my experiences is quite a handfull, also would be better if you could stretch abit more on money you might get something abit better
  25. back wheel or swinging arm? yea they arnt very strong if you move them lifting it up under the exhaust. hmm
