Hmm i would have thought wd40 makes ur stickers peel if you have any ?? I use that back to black stuff same as car trim stuff although when you sit on ur mudguard especially on gassers becuase they've got a steeper angle you slide rite off lol

Go test ride a number of different bikes and cc of bikes get the one you feel is right....

Common thing for the gassers not sure what it is really but the sound dissapears or quietens down when you pull the clutch in , nothing to worry about unless the clutch stops working of course...
