  1. Anybody getting Deja vu? ''Get yoursels out in the snow '',I told my kids last year ..''cos snow like this only falls once in 20 years''..What do I know .I could work for the Met office with that sort of statement. I'm hacked off clearing snow every day ...it's not fun anymore. 'Dear Santa, I know what I want (need) for Christmas this year':-
  2. That goshawk going through the trees was amazing, just like me whizzing through the woods on my trials bike ...not! If I have to make the late choice of going between two trees then I'm sure to clip one of them.

Hmmm?..food for thought. Where do the rest of the Sherco peeps 'sit' the last clutch plate? Does it make a difference? Chime in if you've got the time. Cheers, Wayne
  4. Yup ,that's the spot. Divent fret, there's only one brand of trials bike(IMHO) that is picky about the choice of anti-freeze...and it's not Sherco.
  5. I realise that there are so many factors involved in trying to make a trials bike grip but I was also very curious about that question a few years ago. So... I had a 2001,2002,2003 290 Sherco available for a bit of back-to-back testing (on the same slope)and the one with the worst grip was the 2002...the one with the longest swing-arm?!

You've got my attention now Copey?? In your opinion where does the last plate sit? Is it lined up with the rest of the pack or offset (by 10-ish degrees)? I'm at work,my bike is not,but I seem to remember my bike has the last plate offset like this workshop manual??Page 9 photo 10.
  7. I'm sorry but this is proper country music:-

Oh No,No,No...too young for me,especially with that kiddy voice...but... at the other extreme, my mate says necrophilia is 'dead good' !
  11. Make sure you spend some of that bike budget on security.I've got a few non-trials mates (honest) from Heaton and they reckon keeping possession of any type of bike in Heaton is a problem.

    Is the pump, polarity sensetive?
  13. light Atom I think I may have overdone the humour with my elusive particle,I was just trying to cover for my geekeeness. I have an interest in physics but I don't claim to understand it,especially Dr. Diracs theory and all that epsilon prime over epsilon stuff. My kids are in secondary school now so I'm trying to brush up on the chemistry/physics basics. These two fellas help enormously (links are at the top of this post, dunno why?)
  14. Yup,they returned my video ,unused, aswell.I don't think they like faceplants either.
  15. ...Very,very anti-social. Who cares?..sorry I was just researching the elusive 'doesn't fek*** matter' particle. From what I understand there should be equal amounts of 'matter' and 'anti-matter' distributed evenly after the big bang ...so where is it ? Donald have you got it all?
  16. :icon_salut:As our American cousins might say ''toadully ahh-sam '' Glad to see he's over his injuries.
  17. Trippy man..he's got to be on something? surely?

Confucius say:- Sherco fuel tank, with ethanol ... like goldfish; Expands as much as it's environment will allow !
  19. Speaking as someone who 'mainly' buys a trials bike,second-hand,I am not looking forward to buying a 2011 Sherco 1or2 years down the line for this main reason:- That combination of a crap-magnet fuel filler and a fuel pump??!! The bikes were recently re-designed to have the air-filter housed so far up, out of the way,to help reduce the ingress of crud...but all that is undone when you look at the new crud motorway that is the fuel filler!!??? Doh! I'm a Sherco fan remember.
  20. It's your bike, you can do what you want with it and you don't have to justify it to anyone I have very fond memories of my old 315 so I'd be very interested in any photos of your project. Wayne

A neighbour of mine spilled a road bike he was test riding before purchase (private sale). He said front tyre deflated dramatically and tucked. Him and the seller are still at loggerheads over it
  22. ...''Kayak across the Pacific Ocean Entering Australia (Northern Territory)..''??
