  1. Good looking ride. Wish you the best.
  2. ktm buys gg rights. They produce nothing trials for a year. They then copy the frame geometry and throw a 4t ktm motor stealing Beta design and add expensive parts. In the market, but not a really good machine. Price? 9 thousand plus. Business model same as Husqvarna buyout.
  3. Yea When heard Bultaco I thought twin shock. I would agree to get the lightest bike you can. I am partial to Beta because besides being a good ride, their customer service is above par.
  4. Unless you are committed to the brand and want a twin shock, I would maybe look for a TY. The parts will be accessible and it's a solid steed. Prices are not bad.
  5. I'd say they are going out of country otherwise someone would say Hey That's My Bike! You guys have so few riding areas and are neutered to protect anything.
  6. That had bugged me too. I would have been scared to death that sand and crud would get somewhere it shouldnt be.
  7. Way to step it up in trials comp. Sounds like a lot of fun and would love to be there.
  8. immediate first aid should not be a daunting decision. Call for help The worst case would be a cardiac arrest where cpr is required. Two or more can switch out the preformance till rescue arrives. Second would be neck and spine injuries. Do not move the subject. Monitor for traumatic shock. The third most likley scenario will be broken bones and/or puncture wounds. Keep the break immobalized, add pressure to a bleeding area. Monitor for shock. Heat exhaustion requires keeping the body cool and monitor for shock. Hesitation or refusal to perform basic life saving proceedures is worse for the victum than any percieved mistake you might make.
  9. Tubliss is ok for the front, but the fact that you have to drill another hole in the rim kinda kills the charm for a tubeless rear rim.
  10. TCUSA Would love to help, set a date.
  11. Must be something in the air. I'm going thru my own brake problem but mine is in the front. The only way to make sure you are trouble free is a rebuild. You may get by for a while but without normal maintenance we are all heading for fail.

    Improve Power

I haven't looked it up but you may be able to swap out to a 200 jug. Others may be able to confirm or deny. What kind of gains are you looking for? It could be that you would appreciate a bigger bike.

    Improve Power

as far as I know the only exhaust upgrade Beta offers is titanium.

    Improve Power

A thinner base gasket would give a bump in compression. A race clutch would transfer power quickly.
  15. I would definitely wash my rig in the backyard if I lived in the UK. Thefts are staggering and the thieves case the bikes somehow, probably by seeing the bikes being washed or transported. The carwash doesn't seem like a place to be, nor does the front driveway. Just saying...
  16. Maybe they could put a camera located to catch license plates. Some cops in the US have 'bait cars' that are wired and watched. Maybe a program such as that would get into the ring of trials thieves. There is some sort of black market or you wouldn't see the volume of theft. Sounds like they are shipped to east block countries or they would pop up, since yall are so restricted in your riding areas.
  17. Nuetech makes a run flat system called Tubliss, Its a bladder inflated to 100lbs. and seals the tire to the rim. I run it in my evo. The only thing I wasn't fond of was drilling a new stemhole for their proprietary rim lock. Punctures are repaired with tire plugs or you can run tire sealant but I get by without it.
  18. Try prying out the shut off knob, you should be able to see the nipple and get your clamp on the hose.
  19. From what I have seen defeated in these post, I would think the lock shown would just make a thief smile. Do European guys chip your pets? That same tech seems like a resource to explore and probably a cash cow for the right entrepreneur.
  20. Too bad someone has not invented Liquid Lead to put in your tyres while stored in the garage. Dads suggestion of video is probably your best bet. Your gov videos everything they can, so should you. (ours are getting that way too) Sounds like thieves are among your pals over there because of so much extensive knowledge of targets. Hide cameras, have driveway cameras, and a internet feed. Vote to be able to protect your property.

I would also put a smart carb on as stock as in a Lectron.
