  2. The weather or? I liked the event previous time. Had good view on all the sections, we went with MTB and had great fun. We will be there on saturday again, just to do some sigthseeing and planning on what we want to do, worked great previous time. This time we take the bikes I quess.
  3. In 2 weeks belgium will be the location of the WTC. I will be there. Any others?
  4. I dont have pictures, but the way I do it. For blue which is our biggest class. Everything should be able to do without big hopping and stuff, but a minor mistake should result in an error. But what also helps is building sections. You can learn to read difficulty of sections. In the beginning you will make errors trying to walk the routes. Some parts will look easy but are not and visa versa. You can always rebuild a section!
  5. Lol, we Dutch are allowed to make jokes this year, since we are not even there!
  6. and where did they produce the new greeves?
  7. Yes, and in my opinion the country (or our countries) have failed then. It easy to say standing on the sideline offcoarse but there should be better management. But well I dont think we will agree at the end, and thats fine by me. I sincerely hope this does not turn out bad for all of us. Also I need to be honest and I had to laugh a little last night after the soccer match lets say good ironic timing.
  8. They used to all come trough italy, dont know how its business is now. Those small 225's etc never officially made it to europe I think. Some came trough ''grey'' import, and they were popular amongst (yamaha sponsored) racers etc because they make great pitlane bikes, and are nice to have around an mx track.
  9. Some people think whats best for themselfs, others think about a bigger picture. We can also say **** the elderly, we dont want to pay for their care! No money for the farmers, let them take care of themselves! Etc. IMO not the way to go. For as far as I see everyone can get education, and things are not so bad. There is a big generation who feels like they made big progress and got a lot of extra wealth, but those are probably also the ones who created problems with that (enviroment, but also migration etc). When we needed workers for jobs we dont want to do they are good enough and now we dont want them anymore? There are problems, serious problems but lets fix them with eachother. Problems might have been a lot bigger without our ''friends''. Take countries like poland and chech republic, they have made great progress and add to the total economy now.
  10. I dont agree its german led. The way I see it: You go on a holiday with 10 mates, some like cycling others dont, some like walking etc. You end up sitting on the beach drinking beers with your mates because thats the **** you have in comming. You can go alone on holiday and do the things you like, but well you will be drinking alone... It aint perfect, but leaving is imo a much worse scenario.
  11. I think brexit isnt that trials related and I will not go into that. However, as European friends, I think some (or a lot) people (and especially the elderly) think a little bit too much of the UK. There is plenty of other countries. I hope the brexit will be perfomed in a sort of shaved way, not changing much. And I hope it will not backfire on the UK, but I am affriad for you guys it will...

I also know a lot that dont have problems, even one with a 2003 model, never any real problem appart from some clutch work. Dont forget there are a lot of those bikes sold and some bad stories will always circulate. E.g. I know 2 bikes who had the footpeg broke off. (I know more honda's where this happened btw). But I also know plenty (100+) gg bikes were this did not happen. At the end make sure you are comfortable with it, and ride and have joy!
  13. It needs to be working with wet clutches.
  14. Ok that explains. But still a very nice job
  15. https://www.facebook.com/trialworld.es/videos/1166694700055025/ Crash https://www.facebook.com/horsforthtrials/videos/1766561623557321/ Fuji
  16. Great job of the ''old'' man. Did somebody see the shortcut he made? Same place toni took a five by crashing. Searching for the video now.
  17. Actually if you like take the steps appart its: Compressing the swingarm and shock absorber Timing of power of the engine The body itself actually sort of jumps like you normally would without a bike (same story, compress, use muscles, without a bike you would use your arms aswell) Knees are used to compress the rear, and to make as much as possible space to extent and to shift the bodyweight towards the top of the rock. And he hits the fender/rear tyre with his behind when the rear tyre gets on top. Then he pulls hos body forward again. This way less weight has to be ''shot'' into the air.
  18. For old GG bikes we made a special bracket to mount the mid boxes. Torch and compressed air on it. After a while you can take away the torch and it will still smoke and burn like a flametrower for some half hour. Brand clean. Outside may need some collor if it was painted before. lol.
  19. Just the black one looks neat mate!
  20. Too bad. Think he struggled with some injuries in the past etc. The competition is so small in number but so high in level. Wish him all the best with the next step.
  21. Jitsie is distributor of TRP, so you might look on their site for dealers.
