  1. I think they call the ''dome'' or doming stickers/decals
  2. Buy a reiger shock seperatly and you know part of the price difference
  3. Yeah the scheme changed a little trough the years i quess from the txt the 250 270 were red (now pink, lol). the editions and first pro's 250/280 were blue. I think on the enduro's they also used this colors for a while.
  4. Close enough to the weight limit, and lighter makes failures (even ) more likely. Quess there is even market for a little heavier and stronger versions for amatures. The model is and has been good for over a decade, sales over the years say enough. The bikes have their disadvantages, but the model has been proven imo! A revolution like the pro? I dont see how they would do that, but well never say never. Injection could be the future? But is it needed? Imo not, but quess this is personal preference. I want one!
  5. Colours used to be based on engine sizes, but that got shifted at some point. First pro's kind of did still have the collours. 200 and smaller where yellow 250 and 280 where blue, 300 have been grey, red etc
  6. Guess the weather in the UK is more sucky than ours, and the weather where the bikes are made/designed is even more different. So I dont think its that strange is small adjustments need to be made... If you go on holiday to spain you dont sue them for your red skin, use sunblock!
  7. Saw this before a almost brand new bike. Quite sure it also was a 014, with non-standard foodpegs (maybe standard for that particular model, but not the standard type)
  8. I like the bike as it is! New or rerelease of older stuff, the bikes are good as they are, and the new parts make it perfect imo.
  9. The fact that is doesnt have papers is not that special. I almost know no trials bike in my country which has. Quess it is the same in france. The sticker kit can just be orded online and ship troughout europe without any problem (still ). But ok, its always good to check.
  10. I had my own machine, did some nice jobs on cars and motorcycles. Also multi colour designs.
  11. In Spain http://www.pascuetoffroadcenter.com/
  12. That could be, but the picture shows the original way gas gas supplies them! Just some examples
  13. Trial is a strange sport, bit of underdog sport. New talent only comes if younsters try trial. Most of them are too late. Also it requiers money and motivation from a very young age to get near the top level. But e.g. also in MX we see some guys lapping others (e.g. Jefry Herlings in MX2) Also in extreme enduro there are some really great guys and the rest. With sports like on the olympics its a different game. Running 100m is one hunderd of a second work.
  14. I would say change the rule towards 65kg, and rethink every one of two years. Also I would suggest its allowed (or mandatory) to fill the tank before the weighting.
  15. Why did you change it in the first place? Check if the wires have good connection (no corrotion), new spark plug? Not an error in your killswitch (or its connection?)
  16. For other forks you might need other tripple threes. Marzochis are 40mm, tech is 39. Forks are for sale e.g. http://www.2bbikes.com/Webwinkel-Product-136104221/binnen-poot-voorvork-40mm-558mm-marzocchi-dun-verloop-boven.html There is also one in their outlet http://www.2bbikes.com/Webwinkel-Product-146566781/voorvork-poot-1st-links-40mm-marzocchi-conic-(beschadigd-t.h.v.-inklemmen-kroonplaat)-(outlet).html Not sure if its the right type? white type? I think jistie (e.g) distributes heavier springs
  17. If you have difficulties re-mounting the bash plate it is bend. Try to bend it back. The bashplate is a part of the strength of the frame. I use some nylon blocks to possition the plate under a press. Then count the ammount of pulls on the lever of the press. The first part bending nothing happens, after a certain ammount of strech it will. Do mine every half year or so. Takes some time but its back in normal bend.
  18. There is alto on top of the floats, alto means up in this context.
  19. Either bigger bore or longer rod.
  20. Yeah, I cut out a sort of diamond shape on the bottom of the tube. Easily done with cut pliers
  21. I have got one tube to both sides, with a large cut on the bottom
  22. You might also ask at which altidude the performance is? ''Very high'' is not that concrete.
  23. Especially the 2002 model can best be avoided in my opinion (and probably most people). I understand your problem with the regulations. Maybe buy a 2002 frame (availability however), and a later bike? Search for info on the 2002 bike, should be plenty on this forum about it. But to name some: Airbox was bad, gearbox See it as a ''beta'' (not the brand, lol) bike. However, if it still runs maybe it has been upgraded? In general the pro design has not changed much from 2003onwards to 2008. 2009 is a new frame. Other more minor changes are however e.g.: 2005+ 40mm forks Electrics and ignition system have been different brands Crank bearings 2005+ are of the improved type (with o rings etc included in the bearing) Exhaust mid and end silencer is one peace (better imo) I think 2007+ Plastics etc should be no problem to fit. Fender shapes are different however not where they mount. 2008 e.g has more shape in the fenders, but older types fit. After 2009 the routing of the cool system changed e.g. Just to name some.
