  1. I have it on my enduro bike. Not sure but it might be that the light changes once it runs (shows km/h)
  2. Its the newer type right, with the plastic mounting thingie? and two o rings. The older one you can just undo with a spanner, and than you can dissasemble.Behind the black lever there is a sort of nut you can undo. Inside there is a round sort of disk with three holes in it. That could be sitting wrongly. Think the tap works the same.
  3. I would suggest experiment yourself! Try the same corner multiple times, and try 1 thing at a time. What happens when I move the weight left or right, front or rear, or both. One thing to remember, as said in previous post, you can also weight the bars!
  4. Colour might be different, but yeah standard nut and bolt work is expensive through dealers (also logical imo). Do keep in mind you use the correct size! Too long bolds will make your mileage of the bike a lot less (because your tank will start leaking!)
  5. I would buy the correct rim tape for trial tyres and plug the hole in your wheel. There are special plugs available for rim holes. https://www.google.nl/search?q=plug+for+hole+in+rim&client=firefox-b&biw=1440&bih=828&tbm=isch&imgil=hYY2x9R4nvP4yM%253A%253BnM0DtlfY2KYRBM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.tireresources.com%25252Findex.php%25253Fp%2525253Dproduct%25252526id%2525253D1885&source=iu&pf=m&fir=hYY2x9R4nvP4yM%253A%252CnM0DtlfY2KYRBM%252C_&usg=__2JHe6kzSxXApKUaaU6cLGknEtIY%3D&ved=0ahUKEwi-0L_1sLHOAhXHtRQKHRoRDKgQyjcIMQ&ei=RUCoV_6ZDMfrUpqisMAK#imgrc=_
  6. Otherwise they are available in europe. Newer (edition) type plastic will not fit 1 on 1. The airbox is totally different. Its a seat type like the newer pro models, with a separate rear fender. like
  7. You can undo the golden bushing. then stick a screwdriver in the hole, blocking the impellor. You can than undo the shaft. The seal is blocked with a big circlip.
  8. To refit the pump make sure the shaft is alligned properly with the crank. To drain you could warm up the engine, however the oil already is very thin, leaning the bike towards the sides and most will come out. I would just fill her up with oil, ride an hour and flush again. Its only +-400cc of oil. Jim (above poster) has made some great video's https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUw0t7UJvD4Yo--eqPZ175A/videos Including waterpump work and o rings!
  9. I would definitely not remove the rubber shocks absorbers. Maybe add a piece of rubber to the original once same thickness as the plate in above picture?
  10. Internals might be a little different.

    280/250?

I would like to see the difference between two bikes. Because it looks like bikes are getting more linear and smooth, and powerfull if wished. But then what is going to make the unique selling point of a 250 in comparison to a 280? Is there a brand that dares to just sell only one type and a 125? I can immagine those ranges of bikes are made because the public is used to it, but you can tell them they want something different (apple story).
  12. A carb clean is never wrong (unless you break it ) and a good start. Using higher octane fuel might also help against this problem.
  13. Had an old one which was broken. Because I had to refurbish the pump anyway I took it out from the inside. You actually almost never have to use the bushing, only when you want to replace parts of the pump. If you want to take the coolant of just take one of the hoses. By releasing the busing you are likely to loose the small nylon washer.
  14. I had a engine of that in my hands, (including all loose parts) and I can tell you that aint light And it has (for easy saying) 3 times more mass turning arround. And I rarely (read never) jump it
  15. |I think its this ET511903013
  16. Pictures are the 2015 type older ones (2002 -2014) are like yours with the goldlike collor ''cap''. This cap is actually part of the system, its act like a sort of bearing. Inside there is one seal and a shaft, and an impellor (and a small plastic washer which you can loose if you undo the golden cap, so dont). Two options, replace the whole assembly with a 2015 onwards type, or buy the parts needed and make your old pump refurbished. If you want to refurbish the numbers are in my previous post.
  17. Try riding a +-250 two stroke mx or enduro bike with the same year 450 4 stroke. Main weight difference is the engine, but they feel completely different.
  18. Difference between my 08 GG and e.g. an 2000 edition is like 14kg's or something. This is a considerable difference. But it feels even bigger, but the engine also feels a lot different etc. difference between dry and wet weights should be around 3.5kg's or so. But is around the same for both bikes (edition has little more fuel and oil).
  19. Like mentioned before, there is a difference in actuall KG's, and the percieved weight by the rider. Big difference will also be felt in the suspension.
  20. But Jarvis is imo the Toni Bou of the extreme enduro's. If he has a bad day others have a good one they can win (e.g. Jarvis got disqualified at some events), but if he has a great run he can ride so energy efficient and clean. Looks less agressive, but keeps on going at a quite high pace. But eventually he will get older (will he and toni? lol). I think taddy has had its best days, but he is a great rider like e.g. knight in the enduro's.
  21. You can copy the url, and there is some special url if you look under your video on youtube. Something like share or ? And there is a link for pages like this.
  22. I think you are thinking about it the wrong way. The sprockets dont make it any slower or faster, the engine rpm does. And by changing sprockets you change the speed at a certain RPM.
  23. The new waterpump should be way better, but you have to buy a total new one. MT55000CT-CGI-1 The older type part numbers: (seal, o-ring (on the outside of the pump), shaft, golden bushing, nylon washer, impellor) MT280210020 MT280218008 Not needed if old one is ok MP10006 MT280218002 MT280218012 Not needed, dont loose the old one MT280218007
  24. Nice job and thanks for sharing. Try to keep focussed on your goal. Dont make the bike more expensive than a ''good'' trials bike should cost. Its a hole where a lot of home builders fall in
