I mean riding Trials as in an event, doing a circus act to pay the bills isn't Trials.
-
For the US of A read anywhere in the World, there's no money to be made in Trials it's a HOBBY!
-
I've always been a fan of the American sitcom, I think you lads are on a winner to be the next big hit on this one.
-
You lot have probably got States bigger than the UK but items 1 2 & 3 simply do not exist in this country at all. There's totally different systems in each & every Centre (Governing area) & it can even vary from Club to Club in one Centre.
Won't comment on item 4 but who would stump up all the brass?
We do have National Championships but they vary just like 1 2 & 3.
-
Sorry but it's too late already for that generation, money & time needs to be plugged into the 8 - 11 year olds to give them a chance of beng on the pace in a few years time.
-
Ahhh.......aren't you the famous actor with the screen name "Myles Longe"?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Nah, him & Lane the famous gay porn act Ben Doon & Phil McAvity.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The old ones are the best eh ?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
fiver it skidded over the top of most of the American readers.
-
Perce, who rides the middle and easy routs then? Please explain?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Our Club events run as:-
Hard route is Expert,Intermediate & Novice. Gradings sorted by the Yorkshire Centre via points accumulation at various Centre events.
Middle route which is 1/2 the hard route sections 1/2 the easy route sections, know in our Club as the Green Course.
Easy Route everyone else.
Basically anyone Adult or Youth can ride any route they want, they just do what they are happy with.
-
Dont worry man, im sure you will get over it.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I've heard you'd struggle on our easy route.
-
did Andy post that on Trialsphotodotcom just to show us how big of a tool Jakey has?

Your alternatives make little or no sense to riders in the Yorkshire Centre as the Experts, Inters & Novices all ride the Hard route up here. Different parts of this country all run to totally different naming etc etc.
-
this boot is split due to gas gas chain wear.
-
pity Atom couldn't have fit him in his back pack in the SSDT then isn't it, he might not have lost them 15 minutes
-
what's 85 quid? I bust one at the ssdt & it was 30 ish + vat to replace.
-
I did, before I pm'd him to suggest scrubbing the auction
-
Your joking aren't you? I'm just in the process of selling a Sherco rear brake pedal on evil bay.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Certainly not, it's a straight fit & a lot neater than the Mont original.
-
I wouldn't worry about, in the UK centres call folk what they like & Experts in some Centres wouldn't win on the easy route in the Yorkshire Centre. Just get on with it & have fun.
-
Sherco back brake pedal is a straight swap, Ishy used one in the SSDT no problem.
-
Oy!
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Had you considered the big bucks you could earn riding the US champs K? Toss in a bit of coaching & you're on a winner.
-
also fit a bigger float valve in the carb as this also helps chuck more gas into the system
-
Doubt your bike stopped through overheating.
Check that the breather pipe on the petrol tank allows air to flow IN to the tank.
-
The raga I saw in Parc Ferme at the SSDT had a guard that fitted on the bolts of the rear master cylinder, why they haven't extended the chain guard as well to stop you buggering the inside of your left boot I don't know
-
I thought the moors were pretty dry this time with the exception of Annat.
One of the best bits of the SSDT for me is going across those trackless moors, don't think there's any other trial that you get that opportunity.
-
So apart from Pisstakersnotsoannonymous is there anybody at least that has some idea where I can get one?
-
I've heard it's one course suits all this year to........
