Ssdt Means One Trashed Bike?
Always when on the road & usually when on the forest trails. The markers out do it as well so they're not going to space the refuel points too far apart are they?

4rt - Fuel Cap Breather
I think you'll find that if the petrol tank can't get air in through the breather your bike is going to stop pretty quickly. What fills the tank after you've used up all your gas? Air. The pressurisation of the system occurs between the fuel pump on the bottom of the tank & the injector.

Dreaming About A Job In Trials
One of the most anti social jobs going, when you want time off where does everyone else want to be? That's right, in your pub. End of Trials career without question.

Your 92 bike should have a tubeless rim on it. There should be no need to put a tube in it.

Ssdt Means One Trashed Bike?
I've done the SSDT on 2 Pro's & never had a problem with either. I'd agree with Timp that if you look after your bike it'll last no problem. If you change gear with a left foot like a sledge hammer & flog your bike senseless down the road it's not going to last & that goes for any make. A big float valve in the carb & riding with the choke on down the road helps. I've just sold my 250 that I did last years trial on & with new bearings for all the cycle parts it was as good if not better than most lads bikes that have had a year of little care & maintainence doing club trials.

After a fair bit of haggling with the ACU Richmond got the dates changed to avoid a clash with the YMSA 3 day Trial, I don't believe that the ACU calendar has been updated to show this. Ladies round is 13-08-2006 C&D round is 19-08-2006 A&B round is 20-08-2006 Venues to be confirmed, the intention is to run the ABCD rounds at a common venue to suit camping etc.- World Indoor Trials
Dabster seems to have good knowledge of FIM site, is he your mystery promotor K?- 4rt Throttle
how much are standard hangers then?- One For Stopping
Are you fishing for a 3 Day ride?- Punch Cards Or Observers Boards
We only use punch cards for British Championship rounds the rest of the time it's done on Observer boards. The sheets used vary from event to event & we always use a waterproof paper.- 4rt Throttle
I half fancied a 4rt last year but hated how the clutch worked & wasn't to keen on the fact that the thing was trying to cart me along half a yard quicker than I wanted. I also had a problem that it kept pumping my arms up in next to no time at all. Anyway I tried an 06 bike just before Christmas, it had the 315 clutch master cylinder & a different handlebar set up. I was well impressed with it although it still was trying to run away with me a bit. I bought one & on the advice of a friend made sure it had the programmeable ecu on it which is set on a softer setting. It's certainly more laid back & suits me just fine. I've also got 5 1/2 inch renthals & Hebo footrests on it. Trying to work out what to do with the footrest hangers now as the stock item seems very soft & bendable. I've bought the bike specifically to do ride 2 trials this year, ssdt & scott.- 4rt Throttle
It appears you're trying to take the 'edge' off a slightly headstrong machine by gearing it down. Had you considered that the bike is already low geared? Check out the ratios in comparison to say a Gas Gas Pro. Best bet to slow the thing down is fit a programmable ECU & have it set on a softer setting. More expensive than an outsized sprocket but does the job properly, not just a workaround.- Loose 4rt Grips
Put the grip onto the end of the bar then slip the airline nozzle under it, give it some air & drag it on, then wire it on. - Panic Time
