Apparently Sherco are issuing free Ishy clones to all those that have bought 4t bikes. It'll simply be know as 'T'awd bugger' tool. It'll work within three kicks every time.
  2. perce replied to telecat's topic in Youth Trials
Nail on the head Telecat, we already have an elite youth system in operation by allowing the top youths to compete on the expert course in the adult british championship. Whether they should be allowed to compete on the championship route at adult level is another discussion perhaps? With high entries all non competative runners should be not allowed to compete, ie out of class not allowed down or UP! Time wise we allow 7 to 8 sections per hour but with puch cards things do run slow so on a 40 section event I'd go for 6 hours. Clubs need to provide an Observer & a puncher to help speed things along. Clubs also should consider providing catchers on the bigger sections to help ease the flow, if the kids can trust someone else to catch them instead of waiting for Dad to breathlessly catch up then things would speed. If Clubs can't provide manpower to do this perhaps they shouldn't be running Championship rounds. Why are minders not allowed to run around after the kids on bikes?

Maybe I could take your place - My mother's from Yorkshire, she'd understand <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't you think Kinell's mother would notice?
  4. old clip, that was the first view we all got of a 4rt in action 2004
  5. perce replied to austini's topic in Montesa
Yeah evidently the clubman route at the Cleveland was won on a 4RT and they reckon the bloke riding it couldn't even finish the year previous event on his gasser. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was the only time the Gasser huffed on me last year & I'll be well pleased if the 4RT goes round SSDT with as few problems. All it needed for the week was air filter changes, oil change mid week & a set of front wheel bearings on the Tuesday night.
  6. perce replied to dabber's topic in SSDT Chat
That'll struggle up 'PIPELINE' So it's Andy's 'Scooby Doo' against that, race to Mallaig and back. Shall we start a book......................... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you let Kinell & the super cogged Beta take part it'll be no contest if you take into account he already knows the route well.

  9. perce replied to austini's topic in Montesa
I noticed that as well. There seems to be a lot about, certainly on the Clubman routes in the North at the moment.
  10. it was on, were you there?

http://www.trialscentral.com/classifieds/d...php?siteid=1444 I wonder what this makes it go like? Looks a bigger bore system to me.
  12. Clubs are no longer allowed to accept riding out of class on too large of a capacity bike, they are not covered by the insurance any more.
  13. perce replied to cota kid's topic in Sherco
what's up? did you wrap the old one round the head of a Roma fan?
  14. I'm #101 this year, let's hope I can make it passed the lunch stop this year as the Gasser decided to do a Red Arrows on me last year.
  15. How much snow have they had round Castleton? Will it be gone by the weekend?
  16. perce replied to euan1's topic in Gas Gas
  17. so does the East Yorks, North East etc etc etc but not the bloody Yorkshire Centre.
  18. Pity the Yorkshire Centre can't take note of a mid routes popularity, there's Richmond & Bradford doing it down here but no one else. There's such a gulf between Hard & Easy at Centre Trials. It would be great if they ran a 50/50 so folk can attempt to make the step up or give us older ones who want a challenge without frightening the crap out of ourselves.
  19. perce replied to beta-boy's topic in Gas Gas
The only time they clatter on is when the clutch is out & the bike is running in neutral, pull the clutch in & it goes away. This can vary from bike to bike, my last 250 didn't do it at all but the last 280 I had was very noisey. Never noticed them clattering when in gear & on the move.
  20. Well they're filled in & away with the postie. I ringed the A route, go easy lads!
  21. Next question then, compared to 04 the 05 A route was way OTT, will this happen again this year? Seemed it was up in severity to give one rider a challenge but it made for a very tough day for everyone else on the A route.
  22. So there is now three routes in a Scottish National, what's happened? Has the A route got harder? B route got easier? Need to know which route to enter on.
  23. keep an eye on what this seller has he very often has 'shop soiled' Onza's for sale, I think he could be the importer of them. We bought one like this before Christmas & when it turned up it had never been out of the box. It's a T-bird & cost considerably less than list price, be patient though as some end up going for far too much money. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Mikes-Super-Cycles
