  1. I totally understand that. It seem like Gas Gas was a good fit, as they covered both disciplines. Tough when you are second and third in WTC, but can't make a living. So many young women riders coming up through the ranks, that I guess GG thinks Sandra has peaked, and thinking younger rider. Very hard to beat Emma when she is so singularly focused on trials and you can't be. After Sandra beat her for the Super Enduro Championship in '16, Emma dropped the Hard Enduro side of riding. I'm sure that she's well paid by Sherco ..... I do hope Sandra will still ride the SSDT!
  2. It's been this way for a long time now.... Taddy and Grimbo left Trials longer ago than you think, to take up Hard Enduro.
  3. afaik she is a hard enduro rider....
  4. Yes. She posted back about 6 weeks ago, thanking GG for her time there. She is back riding a Husky in Hard Enduro and she rode a KTM at the ISDE.
  5. Since we are still seeing silly season ongoing, we may see Scorpa sign some other riders. I was wondering if we would see Sandra Gomez return to Scorpa for WTC, or if she would just stick to Hard Enduro like here brother, after her release from GG? I can't imagine her missing the SSDT!?!

    long ride tank

No they won't fit a newer Scorpa. More correctly you would say the new Sherco has moved it's tank to be like the new Scorpa. The Long Ride tank for the new Scorpa TY125F, may fit, but it seems that the fuel tap location is different for the 4T motor?

    2017 Vs 2019

Switching to a full 360 degree kickstart gear, from the GG Pro style.... was a big positive in my book!
  8. Pindie spends most of his time on KTM Talk....
  9. Was there a section time limit in WTC in 1992? I was just watching video from USA round and the amount of time riders would static balance and barely hop side to side before a single obstacle in a section is astounding. Rob Crawford takes 35 seconds( I timed it) to set up, balancing and hopping one tire width left and right, to go up what now would be a blue line or less now.
  10. A modern 125 will have less flywheel, than a twin shock. The power is quite adequate and you can add a flywheel weight to make it more stall resistant. I don't run a flywheel on mine and have always used the white throttle tube. They are more like an older bike, in that when the obstacles get bigger.... you have to lift and get the work done a little sooner, than a 250 and a 300. As a 62 year old trials beginner and now up to riding intermediate, I'm on my third 125 and feel no need to go bigger.
  11. Email the Tryals Shop and Mike Komer will explain. https://www.tryalsshop.com/ He said a few years of Montesa 315R models came with this washer in the head pipe (along with a restricted air box) and he used one of the Montesa washers he saved all these years in the Beta. I know my 2000 Husqvarna WR250 Enduro bike came with a conical washer in the head pipe to restrict it. I think this was a common way back then to restrict street homologated 250 2T off road bikes to low HP for EU Learner bike HP standard at the time, which I think was 33HP max?
  12. Tryals Shop just did a Beta 250 Evo for a customer's novice wife. He used a slow throttle and welded a washer in the head pipe to restrict it to about 50%. The customer is very pleased with the performance. Mike Komer at the Tryals Shop said he didn't adjust the jetting, when he restricted it.
  13. For better or worse... she's not on a retirement tour, after the other day!
  14. They may have very well have already done so? It would be a very nice touch...
  15. It looks like a small LED taillight is fitted standard. Would that, the trials headlight and a number plate fitted be sufficient? Trials Enduro Direct in the UK sells a number plate and bracket you could mount your plate on.
  16. It will be available in street homologated form in some markets. You'll have to check with your importer.

    2019 RR Vs One

I also rode a TRS and liked the S3 Curve footpegs, so put them on my Scorpa. I'm a clubman rider, but I benefit being short, that they help me get more forward on the bike and improve my overall riding position.
  18. I may have misunderstood what you said in bold? But Marcelli didn't ride for the factory team last year, he rode for the Spanish Federation team. His new team, RG Trials is the official factory support team of Honda Montesa. He's closer to riding on a factory team now....
  19. In my experience it's usually an ignition problem, when it occurs when bike gets "hot" after running a bit. That doesn't mean overheating.... Start with a new plug, then pull the plug cap, cut the HT lead and reinstall cap. Try a new plug cap if you have one. Run it in the dark and spray some water on it and see if you get any stray voltage. It could be anything... stator, coil, etc but start at the simple end....
  20. Drill the ball out of your stock cap as lineaway suggests, put it back on the bike instead of the CSP cap, ride the bike and report back.
  21. Enjoy! It's definitely a nicer and more roomy van than the Chevy Express/Nissan. I've driven them as a loaner, while my Sprinter was getting repaired. Keep an eye on the front tires for excessive wear, as that seems to be a major complaint.
  22. No USA Market vans in this class, are available as a diesel, all gasoline/petrol. Already some info out about the problems with direct injection gasoline/petrol engines, like M-B uses in USA Metris.
