  1. Jon if you search old posts on here there is a visitor to this site who worked on the Majestys back in the day. I will take some pics of my frame when the bike is stripped, but as i said it has been shelved at present. If funds allow don't dismiss the mono as they are always worth having if found at the right price. Better than money in the bank if bought right I reckon as they are still sensible money.

    Ty 250 Mono Id

Looking at the pic can I see a small silver bolt on piece to check the oil at front of the clutch cover. If so that is the same as the one spoken about in the other thread linked to on this thread. (It was my bike, now sold on) I had an after mkt tank cover that may have matched the air intake cover you have. Is the choke on the left, mine was and the carb is smaller than UK spec.
  3. Hey jon you want to stop yer Mrs shopping at Sainsburys, they are greedy b******s there. Anyway back on to the TY, the Majesty frame mod is a complicated affair, Woody has covered it before. I have a Yam framed Majesty I will be stripping in the future, shelved at present due to trying to sell house and move etc. But when it is stripped I will photograph the frame as others have spoken about the same conversions on here before. Bought a TLR 200 to be going on with as it can be a struggle without a twinshock around Gloucestershire clubs as some want over 50s on monos. I am only a mere kid at 44.
  4. Well done for finishing OTF. Did you ride the James and did it go well.
  5. Aye Millers in their wisdom sent 4 and the wrong size as well as wrong brake shoes.. Cheers for that...
  6. Yes if you contact Millers 01425 616446 they do the Venhill range. I have just had one for my Tlr it happens to be the same as a TL 125 as I intend to use a Domino throttle for slower action. Cheers
  7. Thanks again for the replies. Millers sent me 4 seals, is that right ???
  8. I need to change the fork seals on my Tlr 200. Are there any quick ways eg leave the leg in the yokes or do I have to strip the whole fork? New seals have arrived (4 in pack?) I have not looked at it yet, just wondered if any tips out there so as I don't do something I don't need to. Thanks in advance.

Looks like a certain person recently banned from TC has a CCM for sale on Wobblie Wills site, and some new spares.
  10. A similar thing happened down here the last time there was a shortage, possibly lasted for 48 hours tops, loads of panic etc etc then back to normal. It is the idiots that fill up daily that upset the apple cart.
  11. Did I hear on GMTV this morning that one fuel station up there was charging
  12. I ride a Scorpa 125 4t mono. I have not touched the tlr just tried it out. My first trials bike was a Tlr 200 and I struggled with it because of handling etc. This one has had the pegs repositioned and slightly longer r shocks that changes the st head angle and it seems good. Having said that I have a lot more trials under my belt on the Scorpa which has modern geometry obviously and is soft in comparison so you may be right it is possibly me . I need to fettle it and see. Brian r not sure about timing as motor runs like a watch etc. Thanks. What I need is a Tlr that handles and steers like a Scorpa 125. Oh no don't go down that road. The T/S Police will be chipping in soon.
  13. I have just picked up a Tlr 200 and it still has the standard Honda throttle fitted. It seems a bit firey, all or nothing. Does any one here know if it is a fast action one fitted as standard. I am wondering if it would be better with a Domino slow action or similar. Thanks in advance
  14. I had it a couple of years ago, it takes time and as others have said already rest etc. What job do you do? as that can sometimes be the problem. I am a bricklayer and that is why I got it. My other half was diagnosed with it and it ended up they were wrong and she had 2 pro lapsed discs and the elbow was the first place she felt pain. Two years on she still aint right . Hope you only have tennis elbow, give it 6 weeks. billycraigs your man, he knows his onions on these matters but I don't think he posts on health matters any more..... I may be wrong.
  15. Woody looks like you are right. The frame has been relisted as a Beamish. That makes me a
  16. majman has had the boot. Read the ACU bashing thread. He was sussed out. Sorry I can't help with the fork oil query.
  17. Stop SHOUTING I can't hear myself think. Put the caps lock button onto lower case.
  18. If you started it I bet those megaphones would bark out.
  19. A bit heavy handed with the paint, managed to paint the footpegs, brake pedal and brake rod. Thats got it. Looks quite tidy otherwise.
  20. Maybe it's an 80 frame then? Looks bigger though. I'll get me coat.
  21. For those who are interested there is a Whitehawk frame on ebay, seller doesn't know what it is for. I think it is for a 175 TY . Not sure, but those on here that know will know. (If that makes sense) Type in TY Whitehawk you'll find it. PS If I am wrong I stand corrected.
  22. I agree with TRICKYMICKY. People refer to liners as being steel, put one in the rain for a week or two and see what happens to it, it will rust. Plus of course they can be rebored.Majestyman you are a knob and you have been told in other threads, so you do not need to get all technical as others know what I was talking about.
  23. Not wanting to rise to the bait put down by the Majestyman340 I will just remind all that a TY250 has a steel liner. And he is now deleting posts in other threads if people do not bite. Last time I get involved with the idiots waffle.
  24. Hey Malc where are you 6000 miles away? Curious?? Brian W who has the Ulf K replica may know a thing or two about Mont colour shades.
  25. Well done for finishing on one peg.
