John, I knew that Honda (Yam, Suz and Kaw) crush their works bikes (philistines!) but some escape the crusher. Pity Granty sold his. The other short strokes I know about are the one in Belgium that won a classic show this year and the one that Lane tested. Matty, would you please elaborate on the Jim Susan frames?

This is true. English 348 were prevented from using a fibreglass tank by an obscure piece of legislation so they used an alloy tank with a fibreglass cover which made it resemble all the others. I'm not sure when the legislation was repealed.

Martin, the guy on the Italjet is, I think, Phillipe Berlatier. Bernie never rode the green and white Italjet. Malcolm Davis, give the guy a coconut. The guy behind is Ken Sedgley. The venue, and you would never have got it, is Ndola in Zambia.

Guy in front was multiple British MX champ, both were very competent trials riders (the guy behind is in Todotrials list of all time greats), who are they? Bonus points if you can tell me where the photo was taken. Hint, the guy in front was killed in a freak accident in a trial.
