Advantages of Evo
Ham2, we tested the 200 Evo, and it is a nice bike too! The 250 is THE bike for 90% of the people out there in my opinion! Steve

Advantages of Evo
My son has come from riding GG for a couple of years to now riding a 250 Evo. GG was a good bike. Things that stand out for us that the Beta does better. Turning radius, suspension, clutch, transmission. Better gear ratios that seem better spaced together, plus, the motor to me just seems to put the power to the ground better than any of the other current bikes I have ridden (all of them). Overall a good build quality!

First round of indoor whatjama thingy champs
I initially had the same thoughts as Kramit...I am probably around the same age! But, I also thought that indoor trials in its current state is probably a sport that should be included in the X-games etc! It sure would help expose the sport to a whole new group of young riders in North America who might not know what it really is. As well, it really is now so far removed from what Trials really is in about 80% of the rest of the world. There are only a handfull of people who can do it anyway. It might also make it so those few who can, will be able to make some really good money at it!

Borus: When can we expect to see some of these in Canada?

1990 world trials
Great videos of the old days! At 7:24 of the first video, there is some skinny dude wearing pink riding gear, catching Jordi Tarres as he falls backwards of a step! Ioco BC world round 1990!

Mick, Malc, Mart and the boys
Thanks Martin, I enjoyed that! My son Matt thinks they look like Intermediate sections....I told him he should try them on a bike with virtually no brakes, no suspension, and tires as hard as a rock.....comparitiveley speaking to what we ride today! Steve

Rememberance Day
I am sure I bring this up every year at this time. Andy originally posted this a few years back and it is well worth looking at! Google the artist, Terry Kelly and his song called, A pittance of Time. If you can, check out his website, which also gives a true account of why Terry wrote this song in honor of our veterans. Then listen to the song and watch the video on Youtube. Lest we forget!

Mr. Hensley: Your theory is a good one, and I agree. But its not so much and American thing as it is just a sign of the times in think! I still remember how I thought about things when I was young, and now that I am a parent, the kids today just dont think the same way at all. The instant gratification is the perfect analogy. I constantly harp on my son to stick with whatever he attempts, whether it is trials riding, or school work! Sometimes it falls on deaf ears, but more often than not, my point is proved in the end! PS on another note, sent you a PM but not sure if you got it! Steve

This is purely in response to Copeys post!- NATC schedule for '11
Not great if you planned on coming from Canada either! Will have to re-think the whole plan now!!! April is not a great time if your kids are young enough to still be in school!- Italian test of new Ossa
It does look very good indeed, and it will be great when people get to actually ride it and let us know how it feels!- what problems do you think they will have?
I was thinking the exact same thing... I was also curious about the statement on another site where Nigel was at the factory and tested the bike. Supposedly only the third person besides Colomer and Fajardo to do so!- Garelli 323
Run from it for sure!!!- Garelli 323
Run Lee run! From what I know too, it would be the opposite experience as any Fantic you have owned! Are you off the Fantic kick now for some reason?- can-am
I would think that if its in great shape and never ridden, it would be worth somewhere between $1500-$2000 but if you can get it cheaper go for it. All motor parts would be identical as SWM bikes, same rotax engine! Steve- can-am
Fergie: I am up in Shawnigan and probably one of the few to ever actually ride one of those things at all back in the day. I believe they were fairly bulletproof but heavy compared to anything else back then! If you can get it for a good price and it starts OK it should be a good find!! YOu can PM me anytime if you want any more info! cheers, Steve - A new name for the oldest sport in off-road motorcycling: MotoTrial
