  1. Its actually called a JTG....Jotogas
  2. hi there! over the years I have ridden and competed on almost every brand there is! I like you have a soft spot for 4Ts. I honestly have not spend tons of time on a Mont, but, I currently am riding a Beta 300 4T and cannot believe how good it is! There are only a couple around where I live, so it seems not many people have tryed them. Have you tryed on before? Best turning radius, loads of power( mine has the factory rear silencer) and build quality same as the Mont I believe. Steve
  3. Hey Martin: I thought I saw you on that Montesa days video... were you accepting some kind of award?? Hope you are well! Steve
  4. Globe AZ, 1990 Billy, Renato, Phillipe, and Jordi!
  5. The very best aftermarket pegs we have used so far for the Beta are made it in Italy, called Costa. Not sure if anyone in the US distributes them, but you can conact Dave @ Outlaw ACC. up here in Canada. sending you a PM. Steve

    Beta Suspension

Copey, do you sell Propane and propane accessories??? You are the REAL Hank Hill arent you?? On the fork topic, while I do understand the need to tune suspension to ones specific weight, to say that the stock Paioli is not good in my opinion is not true. I often think that the time spent fiddling around with minor details could be better spent just practising technique. We have been riding the new Evos now for over 2yrs and neither my son or I have had any issues and in fact much prefer it to any Marzocchi fork I have ever tryed.
  7. I have just picked up a 300 4T to ride and think its amazing! It has the factory rear pipe on it so it does go like stink! It certainly has lots of power... just trying to adapt back to the 4T power is taking a bit. The motor is so versatile so sorting out what gears to use in sections. Lovely bike, and very well made.
  8. Great job Noel, and the whole family, especially Pat and Phil! We are cheering for you up here!! Steve PS Glad to see Ringo hasnt mellowed to much!
  9. Great job last night guys!!
  10. Oh man that is funny! where are you Dabster??? you could be meeting up with some of our fine US TCers
  11. Dabster un-informed????? This could be front page news Andy!
  12. Not enough riders riding in the WTC, or each countries Nationals, so factories cannot afford to sponsor many riders, and have a team. This gets reflected in the price of the bikes, which in turn, stops more people at the other end ( starting out) from getting into the sport. Also, less riders riding,= less people watching = less PR= less sponsorship for the factories. Its all intertwined mate! Less people riding world rounds = less money for the factories. They are in it for a business, and to make money. If they dont, they disappear, and eventually if it keeps up, so will the sport in the long run!
  13. I totally aggree that with no minders, sections slightly altered, and going back to no stop, you wont need a time limit. By doing those type of things, the sections will almost automatically change themselves.... I sure thought that some of the sections featured in the Japan WTC left a bit to be desired as far as how they looked, and if they were interesting enough for the riders.
  14. I am quite certain that a few years back some of us were discussing this exact topic... back then, my thoughts were no different than they are now! No stop (as much as it pains me to say it) NO minders Go back to having a substantial loop trail (interzone) All of this will naturally alter the style and severity of the sections. Ultimatley though, the FIM needs to mandate some changes, and the clerks of the course (promoters) need to make a conscious effort to be different too. I still think that a good portion of the sections can be made visible to the public, without it being a man made stadium section in parking lot.
  15. I had the exact same thoughts about Dougies influence on Raga....also, I know not all the top lads were there, but, Kenichi is still a top level rider!!
  16. Wiggy did ride the North Berks Supertrial, but no mention of whether it was on a Sherco or not.
  17. Thanks for that! good thing now is though that I can wear his hand me downs!
  18. Please contact Dave Rhodes @ Outlaw Trialsport in Vernon BC
  19. Wow Craig, how the heck did you find that??? Illinois is a long way from the Cowichan Valley mate! cheers for that! Steve
  20. Graham Jarvis has won Xtinction, Canadas only, and toughest extreme enduro. It was held in the Alberta badlands in one of the coolest places you could ever ride. Not trying to promote other websites on here, but there is some video and pictures on www.offroadmotorcycles.ca and a picture of Graham holding his cheque for $5000. Not bad for a days riding. This event is well attended by all the top riders in US and Canada and is gaining popularity for sure!
  21. OK then. If you go to www.trialsontario.com you should be able to find all the info you need and contacts. Good bunch of guys there in the ATA in Ontario Steve
  22. Where in Ontario are you? that is a big province! Steve
