  1. Just returned from 2 fantastic days of trials at the WTC National trials in Morin Heights Quebec. The ATAQ should be commended on a fine event! Your 2011 National Champions are Champ- Jonathon English - Ont Advanced- Matt Fracy- BC Intermediate- Tanner Nordin - BC Senior 45- Bob Clark - BC Senior 55- Barry Van As - BC Junior- Glen Kemp - AB Full results can be seen with scores etc on www.trialscanada.com It was great to have riders from BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec all competing together!
  2. I agree that Challoner is the NEXT ONE from Britain to be a title contender. To me he looks the best out of all of them just from the few nice vids that Andy shares with us on here!! His progression this year in the top class has been very good!! I like his style and I think the TTT team have prepared him an excellent bike as well!
  3. Treevor: One of the better ones out there comes from Canada! Go to Outlawtrials.com and click on the blog tab. Outlaw Dave writes one everyday religiously unless he is out of town. Lots of Canadian content, but worldwide topics too! Steve
  4. He did, but it was on a 200 Fantic!
  5. Craig.... ever seen Howard Sterns movie? Kilbasa.......
  6. Zippy: I had the same experience and have noticed that there were 2 NYC auditions so hopefully we will see them on the second one!
  7. Jimmy: Just so you know, I wasnt taking the p*** out of you or any of the organizers!! Just poking a bit of fun. I know personally how much work it is to put on a big event, and in the end I see you too were at the mercy of the weather! I am sure everyone involved riding was appreciative! steve
  8. I see from the results from the St. Davids that all the top lads have gone back to riding their bikes from last season!!
  9. Jon: Clive is the one in the funny suit holding the thumbs up!
  10. The final two rounds of the WTC Canadian Trials Championships will be in Morin Heights Quebec on July 17/18. Looking for another great turnout and two great events. Steve
  11. I recently heard a rumour that Montesa/Honda are in fact working on a 2T FI trials bike. Anyone know if there is any truth to that?
  12. Ringo, where you been man! We have not heard from you for so long! It is great news though to hear you are hanging with some class people though!! You can PM me with your friends info and I can let him know whats around OK. steve
  13. Copey: You need to curb the rumour central there dude! No sponsor for a bike for either trials or enduro, means being a little more calculated with your$$$. I would expect to see him in PA, and even some Canadian Nationals later this year! Its sad though in two ways. It sucks the economy keeps good folks away. I am sure lots have been affected. The Commos helped lots of people in their years attending the Nationals, it would be great to see them still back around!
  14. Just an update from a fantastic first 2 Days from the WTC Nationals. Sections were just about perfect for everyone. The turnout was excellent. Just shy of 60 the first day and just shy of 50 for day 2 so the numbers do not lie! We are very much looking forward to the next two rounds in Quebec, and to see alot of old friends, and finally meet some new ones!
  15. We will have Dustin ride at our house some Wed night here soon, so look for some more great vids from him!!! Steve
  16. Great to hear from both you guys, your right it has been along time for sure! Mike, I have a son and a daughter, so I guess that you are right and time flies for sure. My son Matt is not a chip off the block, he is the block!! Just turned 15 last week and riding better than me now! The 6.5 inch growth spurt had a little to do with it. Would be great to see you in May! steve
  17. Hi Billy: Very nice picture!!! Now. picture a step twice as big as that, except its wet and has moss on it, and then Matt is riding up it on a 2011 Beta Evo 250!!! Magic bike for sure! You gonna come up for Outlaw Daves National in May? Steve
  18. Hi Mike: Great to see your name again after so many years.....it would be great to see you again if you make it to the National in May!! PS. I didnt recognize Billy in pictures either for the same reason as you!!! Although he has just made me laugh with the comment about Francois and his neck scarf!
  19. Copey: I will have some vids to send you soon too!! Matt just got a HD GoPro a week ago and the picture is stunning! I was shocked how good it is! I have a friend who edit and put soundtrack to it all, so we are gonna try and put some good ones together with some of our local riding areas. Going to a very cool place this Sunday so hope to get some good shots. The GoPro is very good!
  20. Just to get back on topic here....it is now only a month away from the first Round of the WTC Canadian Trials Championship Rounds 1&2 in Summerland BC! Clerk of the Course Outlaw Dave Rhodes has already been hard at work and the event is well in hand! Just a reminder to all the Champ riders, that this year, the WTC is offering thanks to the help of outside sponsors, daily cash awards for the lowest loop score of the day! The Weekend Warrior award amount of $100 will be given to the Champ rider who posts the lowest loop score on each day of the 4 Event series. This is the very first of its kind in North America!! See you all in Summerland! Steve
  21. Billy: As not to hi-jack this thread, send me a PM mate.
  22. If you google the .........Alberta Trials Riders Association (ATRA) it will direct you to their website and forum. It would be a good starting point to post on the forum there and get some more info. As well they have their calendar of events for 2011. Hope that helps. Steve
  23. Bob: I am not sure why or how you think I feel about our TDN team. I have always supported the efforts of the riders, and yes, it is truly an honour to represent your country. I personally understand this as I was lucky enough to be picked for the very first Canadian TDN team. It was one of the highlights of my trials career. Am I understanding then that you have already applied for funds through the MCC? If so, what was the answer?
