As a portable urinal, but I would wash them well before drinking water! And if you have a few in the pack, you better keep them straight! They work great though!
-
Cheers all, and my old friend Bill,
I do not believe this is your old bike, although it was exceptionally clean as well as I recall. The bike is out west and some fellow that never rode it from new. I am trying to work a PX with him on my quad, as my funds are a bit nil still with the daughters tuition.
Possibly it will work out, as I do think it would be a nice bike.
Some thought did cross my mind about those forks! HeHe!
Hope the Faz family is well, any chance of getting up to the Fort next week?
Cheers,
MC

I know this is sort of a stupid question, yet seems I need to ask it. Seems I have found a rather cherry example of the last of the 2T's , which indeed seem somewhat scarce here, and am considering getting it as a second bike and for its somewhat historical value as the last gen.
I rode one off new and thought it a decent performer as compared to some prior models, still knowing they are a bit on the heavy side, yet great fun and reliable. Great punters bike!
Question being, am I just simply daft in wanting this bike for to basically sit about and play with on occasion, or does this little reliable lump have as much apeal to some others as it does to me, add the collectability. They ain't mak'in these no more!
Am I being impulsive or not? I know I do not need it, but I just want it in a way!

Sounds like near perfect trials weather to me. Think your forecast beat my prediction so far!
I hope they got a good T-shirt this year, Donald.
They posted something up on the SSDT site, yet when I went there I could not find a T!
-
Well, you said it, not me! TDN will likely be the next ride over there.
-
Oh Feck, well you better belly up to finding even more time to fix things then! You may well need it!
-
Welcome Tim,
I had seen your screenname in the past and suspected that might be you. I, for one, welcome your openness and do indeed wish you well. Things are what they are and I shall not venture to pass judgement on you or your business.
I did again ck your website today which seemed to be up and working. I must admit that I am still a bit miffed not to find RCS Racing on the list of dealers. And another person, Don Hubbard in the south of Texas, who has been a great supporter of the product and all that goes with it. Justin would have a hard time supporting riders several hundred miles away on a regular basis. This state is too big!
Obvious next question, any top riders on the sponsorship?
All for what it is worth, as best to you as an observer.
Cheers,
MC

Actually I was referring to RON, not you, but if the shoe does happen to fit?
Or maybe you referring to Me owning a Beta, do you recall my 2T Alp?

The thermo switches are not polarity sensitive, so no issue. They are simply an on/off device at temps, probably on at about 180F or whatever that is in C, bout 90-95 range. This allow one to by-pass them by jumping across the terminals with a wire or such , to assure the fan motor works. If it does not, you have other problems.
The time element all depends upon the temps and running of the bike, and may vary considerably depending upon your conditions and if you are riding and getting natural airflow accross the radiator.

Hey Ron, I just thought of a new slaying. We have a Class for Your Fat A--!
-
There was someone popped up here with an ad for a perfect cherry '04 315, last of the last! Asking 2700 for it, I want it, but cannot afford it.
Heard there were only six sold here that year, not sure.
-
That is funny, seriously funny
-
Did you read the previous response to this question?
-
Can't remember what?
Memory going too, hu?
-
Came accross this on the tube. This guy has a lot of Spanish iron and looks like my old Yankee as well!
-
Since when are these tanks fiberglass?
-
So I understand, where does that put you on such issues as gay rights, abortion, and what seems to be an issue of imigration in to the UK as well.
-
All that and a rainbow sticker on your car would probably get you into California social clubs!
-
You may well be correct? Seems to me when the Leonelli's do start acting up there may be no obvious pattern to them, just craazy!
-
Section design is an art in itself! The fine line between making things challenging, or too dangerous for the top riders, has become too fine! The rest are left to frey.
Look at Bou on the indoor, my gosh!
Put them outdoors and you gotta work with nature. I can see why these things can swing so wildly, yet points are still taken from most.
Still, having some easier than others is important, not sure this was well reflected in recent events. It IS beyond me! And I have studied this for years now.
-
Well, I must admit I am miffed about all this! The other day I looked on their website and did not find some names on their dealer list, including RCS. Today I could not even find a dealer list.
The Beta parts supply was short this year at TTC training days. I(we)tried to help out one fellow with a fan problem, but the rectifier/ regulator assy was toast. Good luck finding one of them. Poor lad, drove all the way from up north to break down.
Ron Jr. and the Commo's have always been tops in my book. I have had Beta products in the past and have had top notch support. I also consider him a friend and total supporter of trials in the US. Hopefully the help and support of the Commo's will continue in an even broader sense now with things as they are. A Boatload of experience with the product for sure, that cannot be replaced!
I will not even get into Ron Jr.s riding experience, I think I did see his pic on that TDN thread, he was skinny then! Ha! Old fart can still ride! Maybe he can do it more now, not a bad idea!

Oh I think I misunderstood, you got just the pick-up coil and fixed it using a pattern part!
Initially I was thinking you got the entire stator plate and an ignition coil/ cdi unit.
I think GII's thinking is basically correct, best I can fathom as just how these things actually function, yet the Leonellis are different in that they are using two trigger coils at 20-26 degree separation it seems. God knows the logic pattern by comparison.
Maybe Steve at Motoplat has would like to know where to get them if he cannot source them, let him know of and get his thoughts. Maybe he has some input?
Apparently a pretty sharp chap.

I'm not sure he is old enough to take to the Club, how old is he now Noel, 19?
If you want to get a smile out of him, you gotta make him say the "magic" word! I took one with Craig's camera once, "the gang" he has it somewhere.
Not sure about the plans now things have shaped up a bit, either? First National is next weekend in OK, tight schedule. Obviousy, this puts things in a bit different light.
Funds are an issue always.
Great going for Patrick, add a big thanks to Ryan as well. Two Clean Days back to back, incredable! I've got more brain farts out of Tommi than that!
-
I will donate to the bar tab, all the Margs you can drink in a night for the two of you, no kidding!
I may be sorry for this, you may be as well! MARGS ONLY!
