  1. I suddenly feel the urge do do one of these 'cus I'm a friggin redneck! Not quite sure if I can pull it off at home, due to the excessive noise and bullets flying about. Someone may complain! Like wifey!
  2. This one popped up on the tube, i was just glad to understandt the little *******, yet he may have issues!
  3. '01- '05 should all fit, yet there may be slight variences in petcock position and such.
  4. The '05 mudguard should go directly in silver, Those graphicks were nice as well! Careful to easily use heat and such on removing origilal tank graphics, as if you yank it it will take off everythinng ! U are screwed!
  5. From a strictly impartial (other brand) rider, the 250 is a sweet ride, and as an older rider I prefer that as it is just more gentile las I rode one. If you tend(or want) to be more aggerssive, you will not be limited by the bigger bike. They are great, just MORE power that can become a bit much and then you find yourself wanting to settle the bike a bit, yet still easily done with slow throttles, flyweights and such. As in everything, there is a tradeoff, your choice?
  6. You could say Ham's Johnson and he would find it equally entertaining! Getting back to free running, add the movies, the tpoic sort of makes me wonder exactly what level our specialists do train to. Add how do you train to that level without killing folk?
  7. The gas pressure does indeed have an effect upon compression and may be noticeable best I can figure.

    Wheels

Yes they do, however in most cases it seems more economical to repair what you have. I would ck with your local dealer first!
  9. Not a big deal matey, if they are gone, they are gone. All sort of the simple exchange to begin with. I may well call upon you to get me something later on as you never know? As it is always good to have friends in (highland) places! Get on with your bike! Add i did make some changes to my original post that you may want to review
  10. Why is it I have a hard time picturing you spend money just because Cody flipped bikes?
  11. Yea, right! Up there somewhere near you, they all speak French! That makes me feel a lot better about being down here around a bunch of Mexicans with guns! I somehow feel more secure now!
  12. Get on with it! BTW, seals must have got lost in post, no joy!
  13. Without having one in front of me, I am daft! Yet fact is in these things you got your sliders and your spinners. Each must operate freely. Add the fixed gears. If this thing took such a shock it broke a gear, the opposing gear(s) may be damaged as well, all is suspect including the shaft which could be distorted or bent from the major bind-up. Everything should rotate freely. As this incident was not caused by a crash(cram) situation, I doubt the forks or drum would be damaged. Sounds as thou you are on the right track. Which is the culprit? not sure? Personally, I cannot ever recall any reports of this happening, althouh not impossible, you do indeed seem to be the lucky one! The only positive thing about this situation is the fact that in such a case, the motors doo indeed seem to come apart much easier. Been there and don that! Keep us posted and cheers on you,
  14. Yep, that is the word! This possibility has been rocking in the back of my head for awile now. Oh well, wish him the best! Cody is a great guy and so is his dad(Kip). This has probably been difficult for him, and god knows what No Jive will do. May put him permanatly into green riding gear! Waiting on that Ossa!
  15. Friggin idiots! Maybe they learned something there! Let's see here. What exactly should we do with all those leftover cowhides generated by the Evil Scotsman Ronald McDonald! I know , lets toos them out because of the petas! Now that makes good sense! Let me have them, as I need a new sofa!
  16. Personally, I find these kids totally awesome even without two wheels! Maybe even more! Try this!
  17. Well, good to hear that on Chris! Seems most everything on the new Sherco is posted in Ryan's video on here! I think it looks really good! Let Patrick bash it around a bit! Then RL will have something to work on!

"Does anyone have any little tricks as to not letting the missus know whats being spent, and what on, cos every time I buy something she always seems to know. She doesn't seem to have an understanding of the relationship between a man and his toys. and feels I should be saving for our holiday in May. " Sell everythin you can on ebay, including the wifey's junk, then order the trials bits online and use paypal to pay for it!
  19. I hope you had some luck! Yet the many on here seem to have no faith! Maybe that is a problem upon itself! Maybe even those of no faith, such as the Nazis or Markzist will prevail!
  20. No , but there is a possibility it could be modded by the factory, yet at what cost? Seems the shock lengthe are off by 10mm or so between '05 and '06 up, along with potential kinkage issues.
  21. Yes they do. Getting back to original post, if the spring is sagged, then get a spring if the dampening is ok, as that is the critical part.
