All I can tell you is that typally the 4T motors like a smaller carb to keep the air velocity up which tends to minimize the lag time if you wick it! But you may have to see what happens! And if you find it acceptable?

You guys are having too much fun!

Steve, did it not seem a bit more overall, with the K carby? Reguardless of Map setting? Not quite as soft through the revs?
Not sure as I have never had the chance to ride one ov the early bikes with the "kit", which i understand had a cam change as well?
As a sidenote, I did notice that Caby seemed to be running the old steel pegs on his, with what seemed to be a little mod to kick them up at the ends a bit!

This is like a minefield topic!
The front is simple like a bicycle, with a tube, do not pinch it!
The tubeless rears can be a real pain as they must seal perfectly! There are many ideas on this topic throughout the threads, but basically you should probably (on a new bike) disassemble it, clean any and all corrosion under the rim band and at least treat each nipple with a drop or two of light oil to prevent corrosion, clean the air valve and re-install the band using a proper tire lube or soapy water so the band sets in its groove perfectly, then install tire without disturbing it, which may also require a "tire beader"!
All this is providing you manage to get the old tire off the bead in the first place!
The RYP Sherco site has a helpful guide at www.rypusa.com/ sherco/ maintenance and manuals, maybe I can link you later!
Get ready for a learning curve!!!!!!!!

Paul, I was standing in a buddies collector shop today, looking at all these numbers hanging on the wall!!!!!! As I really have no friggin ider what the hell any of them are for, I guess I will have to find one of them pretty rainbow things instead, but I will try to follow up with a shot of the ones I DO have, which include a #1 and #2!!! along with other redneck stuff!
Bad thing is, I don't recall seeing a #43, pity!

Doing the math on the Paul McCartney-Heather Mills divorce
After 5 years of marriage, he paid her $49 million . Plus, whatever he spent on her while married to her!
Assuming he banged her every night during their 5 year relationship (and having been married, we all know THAT doesn't happen), it ends up costing him $26,849 per boinking, not counting attorney's fees, court costs and the incidental costs of being married to her.
On the other hand, Elliot Spitzer's call girl Kristen charges $4,000 an hour. And that's Crazy, right?
But... get this!
Had Paul McCartney employed Kristen for 5 years, he would've paid $7.3 million for an hour of sex every night for 5 years (a savings of $41+million). PLUS!!!
Value-added benefits are:
A HOT 22 year old babe, no begging, no coaxing, never a headache, wide open menu, ability to put BOTH legs around you, no bitching and complaining or any 'to do' lists.
Best of all, she leaves when you're done, and comes back the next day, ready for another round. All at 1/7th the cost, with no legal fees.* *
Poor Paul...he just didn't do the math!!

There are TWO seals on the waterpump shaft on all the later bikes since I think mid '01, along with a external drain hole in the front of the case as a weep hole.
Coolant cannot leak past seal 1 and get to seal 2 without exiting hole!(unless hole is blocked) they will leak externally! So milky gearbox oil is unlikely due to this, but much more likely to running in water.
The gearbox vent tube should be run under the carb and up over the fuel line inlet to the carb, then downhill to the skidplate or just so below. This arrangement helps prevent a deep water dive and shock cooling from sucking water back up into the gearbox, but is not infowlable. If you have been diving, best to change your oil! And ck you maggie cover!
I am sure coolanol or water wetter is good, but i never needed it so far, but it is premixed and convenient. When mixing your ethelene glycol based(not HOAT) antifreeze, distilled water is best!
As the corrosion inhibitors are what wear out, annual changes are probably best.

Damn, Thistle! You better put some stupid number on the back of your truck or they will think you are queer!
Don't ask me what number, I don't keep up with them either!

I tried for a while to keep up with the demanding hardware requirements of games, specifically, trying to get MS Flight Sim to run and work properly, and over the years I gave up!
In a way, I think this was a plus, as if the daughter did not have this stuff, or other things like the X-box, she would find more constructive outlets than sitting in front of them. And she did. Oh yes , they still do their other things on the computer, including the Myspace, but not playing games. They get exercise doing the gymnastics, which is good!
After Christmas, the first real game showed up here, as one of her friends brought over the Wii and has been here since. I suppose the kids coming to play on the guitar an Fri. or Sat. eves here is good, beats them running around where they should not!
I just let them crank up the stereo and big TV and let them go, fun to watch really, as they have a good time, safely! But I must admit the Wii is somewhat amazing and from what I have seen, the others are too.
Does'nt Halo 2 run on a game platform as well?

Roumour is no more support after the end of the year?

As an update, took me all friggin afternoon to get the SP1 update done and run the backup disks for the unit! Friggin bulky !
Not to mention it did not like the Sony dvd-r discs, second time I tried to use them in two different drives with same results, after waiting an eternity, they would not ck out, a trip down to the local drug shop and 3 DVD+R's for $2 fixed it! What a pain!
Getting the I-tunes files over from her other computer was another issue! Can they make things a bit more difficult!
-
Let us know what you find, as you may well have to put a 2.0 top on a 125 to get what you want!
-
Looks like something workable now! I need clearance Clarence! Rodger Roger!

Bluish grey smoke is oil, and black smoke is fuel! Which is it?
You can have good compression(oil makes for good compression), yet still a broken, stuck or worn oil control ring!
Did'nt mean to spoil your day mate!
Cheers,

I would like to know waat A hole paid these morons to come up with tripe like this to begin with. I can even live with "Save the planet, convert a quad rider"! And I can realize the impact of a bunch of screaming idiots on open course areas like the Red Bull Last man Standing event! Them guys can tear up some ground, but in a designated riding area, that is why it is designated! Go for it!
Trials bikes and riders are soo low impact, but unfortunately, still grouped with the rest!
I personally think that the big bore MX and enduro bikes are too much, include big quads, push the limits and get too many people hurt! And I can even see the reasonability of the 125 limits in the youth groups! Anyone ridden one of these big bore 500cc plus 4T monsters lately? Lets just say it is fun to scare yourself! But unless you are a pro, you probably do not need it!

OMG, Wonder Boy has just dropped Two Bombs in one post!
"Sweetheart" and "Kitch can't drive killed Andy's car"!
This is good!
-
Looks just like your's does'nt it?

Caution, colored ally bolts are NOT for high stress applications! You may get by with them on your motor sidecovers, but that's about it! Stainless will do better in other applications!
-
Ask the AMA/NATC as they are getting the majority it seems!
However, I do think the sponsoring club should hopefully see a profit and not a loss, as it all mostly goes back into trials in some fashion, most years seem to be a bit slim for the clubs what I hear. Although having the "three and three" may help that.
Events like the Sooner Cup are somewhat unique, cost a lot to put it on, with the objective to break even. Cannot quote figures as I have not seen them, but someone said we only lost a bit!
Speaking of which, I wonder how the WR came out, maybe Dan will tell us at some point.
-
Gee, I hope the electric ones do not make dust! I'm allergic to dust!
What a croc!
-
Maybe John could transport fuel on his rounds next year, as he is the only one with enough bikes to do the job!
-
Maybe if you cut those long guards off, more folks would consider catching you RL.
You are running out of body parts to break!
-
Well, can you seem to maintain a reasonable idle using the throttle?
You should really post in the Sherco forum for further input from others I think.
Can you see through the pilot jet?
-
If you got them plastic ones, you will need to do a fair bit of trimming to fit! And if you gpt the full length uppers that the minders hate, cut them off!
