07 125 Clutch Sticking
I had one like that. Did not fix it till I replaced both steel and friction plates. May well be worth doing the Dan Williams(BETA) clutch mods while you are at it, specially if the outer basket has deep grooves that need attention. Not sure any of that will totally prevent sticking from cold set.

Setting Up Sherco Suspension Please Help
The shocker on the '06 was a bit troublesome, yet if yours is still working and not leaking, it may be still worth the investment in a spring for your weight. Does your bike have the red spring? I might suggest the heavy black spring, yet you may consider calling Chris at Splatshop.co.uk. At the very least, you would want to wind up the spring adjuster to about the point there is little to no free sag with the bike standing under its own weight(static sag). Forks should be ok, unless you are into big drops!

Sherco Shock Mudflap
You sound dirty! Do as you like, yet I might remind some to be carefull with the squeeze or "pop" rivets they may choose to use! Many pop rivets are not self sealing, and to add to the grief the part of the mandrel that is left after it breaks off is left loose and can fall out INSIDE the airbox. This is not normally conducive to proper engine operation, specially if that mandrel part is STEEL! Even proper rivets should many times be backed up with a washer on the inside to prevent expansion and pulling through of the plastic in many cases. I would run a tinnerman screw into the plastic from the outside before I took a chance on the rivet coming loose unless your engineering is well thought out!

Which one? Yher eis a fellow or here that has developed one!

Too Much Tapping 4Rt
I am no 4rT man, but if your valve lash is correct, I would then be looking at things like worn valve guides, rocker pivots and piston clearances. I have worked on some well worn CRF bikes and seen the carnage!

Engine Cover Seal
Yes they fit. Not sure where you are located, but a quick look at Splatshops site suggests about 25 quid things for a new cover and o-ring. If you are in the US, I may be able to help you out as I have a new spare and have sold my bike of that vintage, so PM me for details. Prolly costs too much to send to UK.

Engine Cover Seal
I would say the new style covers are reinforced and much better(06 thru 10) available in silver or black. Mine on the "07 never leaked, yet I would still ck things after a wash. They are not all perfect. On the old ones, I allways drilled a 3mm hole in bottom to allow things to drain and vent. Never a problem. Silecone may help you trap more water! I do not use it, just a dab of grease to hold the o-ring in place for installation.

You may also tweak your snailcams a bit to insure the tire is centered in the swingarm.

Kenny The Rooster - Contains Adult Humour
I go into my favorite electronics store to find they have made my favorite fellow change his name which was there for a long time! Apparently, recieved too much abuse over Phuk, so they made him change it! I am still a Phuk Phan fan!

Your luckey day! I found you a lightly used inlet rubber today that costs NOTHING! I can prolly put it in a mailer bag for about $3.00.

Cracking Frame This
Yea, that bike is well ridden! Doubt you will find much warranty but it would take me little time with a disk grinder and the MIG to toutch that up! Nothing special about the CrMo really, although you will get other opinions. The welder himself being more important than the method used. If you have a good TIG man nearby, use him, your call.

2002 290 Resoration - New To Trials
I would tend to agree with Tony on this. I am thinking if you get the standard dellorto neck and adjuster along with the Kiehin cable which is slightly longer inner, you will not even have to mod the dellorto neck to accomodate the stock cable. Not having done this combo in the past, as I have allways modded the Dellorto neck, I believe it will work but you micht message Splat Chris for confirmation. I am not sure that carb top with neck is the screw on type, as some such as one that came on my OKO are rivited on and just swivel and do not unscrew from the carb top. And at the cost of that inlet rubber, you will find mine to love you long time!

Gear Shift Not Springing Back
Zipper, is your spring rigid?
-
2002 290 Resoration - New To Trials
That don't look too good. As you have no original Dellorto carb to take the neck off of and modify, seems you may be better off just ordering the Kiehin neck and the correct length cable. The hose is cheap, and the only one I have left, like $3.00 and the UPS or USPS costs more than the part. Send me(copemech) an email at verizon.net as I may have a couple other bits you may like and want, as I have recently sold my old bike and got a '12 . Mark

Pol Tarr
If this is true, which it appears as I seen him on Sherco garb on Farcebook, I think this is good. I think Pol has a lot of potential! A big boy, with the stance of Dougie on the bike! The bike is keen, and so the rider! Kick some Butt!

Gear Shift Not Springing Back
Consider yourself lucky that piece did not go into the primary gears! Now put it all back like a good boy and it will love you long time!

Gear Shift Not Springing Back
Air tools require the VOLUME of air to drive them, so if a mini compressor is connected to an air tank for reserve volume at a given pressure it will work fine. Splat Chris may loan you a proper holding tool for a deposit?

Sherco Frame Colour
Black is Black, there is a difference in sheen though. I am not sure about the "10 frame, but on my "07 I used Krylon rattle can Semi-Flat and it worked a charm. If you are mixing a black single stage paint, I would cut the flattner in half at least, then add to taste!

Big End
Leave it with the dealer, you cannot fix iy yourself without a ton o stuff!

No, they do not.

Gear Shift Not Springing Back
I would agree you need to fix this NOW reguardless! Clutch Basket Nut 45 lb/ft (60 n/m) so without a hub holder you need to mark the shaft and nut and put it back to where it was or slightly beyond and do not overtorque! Get someone to do it if you cannot! Yes, be a good boy and drain the coolant so it does not go all in the motor when you remove the side case! The gearbox iol will stay in if the bike is leaned on the left side, but if you have not changed it????? good time to do it! Find that piece of spring!
