Look up tubby trials team on YouTube. Been riding with them for a few weeks now 5 days over a month and a half. Lost half a stone. Plus fit in trousers I was keeping for such an occasion. I'm sure as i'm overweight that as time goes on this will result in diminishing results and weight will stabilise but for now it means I can have more mince pies and have an excuse to ride more!

I've fitted slow tube throttle on my 4t with cable spacer. Nice improvement but considering alloy throttle tube from trial enduro direct to speed up the latter half of throttle travel. Anybody used one?

I've an 07 4t. Had it from new. Just fitted a slow action throttle which helps slow speed control. You need a cable spacer. Would like more flywheel if I'm honest. You'll get used to it and won't miss mixing fuel. Look up tubby trials team on you tube.

Don't mention no stop rules! I can't hop. Just kinda wobble on the spot. Like the ideas Phill ! Any more suggestions?

gonna give this a try. my friend has a beta and its rum pop pop rum pop noise is so much louder than others i know of. think previous owner ran it at 30-1 !

I use SixSixOne pads as used by downhill mountain bikers. Found they are very comfortable and dont interfere with trials boots like mx pads do.

Hi there. I have a Gas Gas EC250. Great bike. The front brake is really spongy. changed pistons, seals fluid bled em down an bled em back and they still aint doing it for me. Oh and ive changed the wheel bearings just in case the wheel was deflecting. Disc is true too. The bike still stops really well but there is no feel at the lever. My next step is a master cylinder kit but does anybody have any experience with this problem?

Thanks for link to diagram. Dont understand the bit with the hacksaw? The spline is not visibly bad but it would be nice to make it right. Doesn't seem like the best design. is it still used on current models? Gasgas is much better even though i snapped kick start.

hi there. whilst inspecting my friends beta 270 04 i noticed the kickstart had worked loose. closer inspection revealed the steel kick start pivot had cracked around the washer. ive since welded it back up but i believe it will fail again due to the wear on the kickstart spline, my question is can the kick start spline be replaced without splitting the motor. i could buy a new kick start but i think that will just mask the problem.

ok so far we're saying latest is best? took bike my 02 out tonight after i serviced it. im wondering if later flywheels are heavier cause my bike is real lively, even with slow throttle? anyway keep your comments coming. i cant be the only person wondering what the differences feel like.

I have an 02 pro which i thought was great. ive now ridden an 08 which i thought was superb and to ride seemed so much more than fancy decals and black frame. Now what i'd like to know is how much they've improved over more recent models?

I have an 02 250 pro and i love it. super reliable! GasGas uk are very helpful and spares back up is not a problem. I must confess i tested the 08's at the test day this weekend and they are so much different! trying to convince myself i will have more fun on a later bike. because the 02 is better than i will ever be. oh and the 200 is fantastic! lack of general interest may effect residuals more so than 250. your choice

I wear sidi courier. long relationship with sidi hence my choice but boots should fit well. just visited friend in hospital after he broke his ankle falling off his trials bike with just his work boots on. 8 days to go till his op to have his ankle plated and screwed then at least six weeks in cast before physio to regain movement can begin. so. invest in best fitting quality boots you can and look at what the top riders are wearing. they cant afford to get hurt so usually insist on wearing the best. Oh and dont fall off. I'm quite a cheery person really.

I use TFR with wax from local motor factors. plus i bought a rechargeable electric garden sprayer which does the job great cleaning the bike before its back in the van.

Now i may have dreamt it but i am sure ive seen an advert somewhere for trials excursions in southern spain? help me out? i have a friend over there and im going to stay with him but thought it a good opportunity to have a blast round the countryside. thanks.

thanks for help. Ive ridden a Bewdley club trial. nice and easy, routes were well layed out and observers were friendly. heard a few comments on Earl Shilton. are there any organised practice days? Or any you guys heading there any time soon?

I want a raga. it wont make me any better than i could be on my std pro but who cares.. It does make good business sense, if the model is exclusive then demand will be high increasing re-sale value. that
