  1. Look how many exotic car makers there are. If someone, anyone wants to put a bit of extra effort in for a passion of the sport then good luck to them. This forum wouldn't be here without someone making an extra effort. All the manufacturers started with a big idea. A risk.
  2. How'd your trial go expat? I couldn't make it but the team were represented.

Yes there is a big gap between 3rd and 4th. Not a problem on a trials bike. The bike performs as intended.
  4. Don't fret too much about fork seals as long as forks move. You will have a great time. Just set tire pressures right and have fun.

Sizes vary between manufacturers. I like my old nzt as I can hear the bike still.
  6. Oh dear unlucky!!
  7. Nice going. Get well soon.
  8. I'm going. Really well set out sections. Plenty of twinshocks there to mix it up.
  9. Got it. Haven Trialsport have parts diagrams with prices.
  10. As above really. I know beta parts prices are available. I want to see if a bike is worth spending money on.
  11. I'm already booked for the mgp and will be there for the trial. Good deals on crossings if booked early.

Have a look in the manual. They'll mention an air gap that will enable you to maximise fork travel.
  13. Ha. No offence should be taken. Its a perfectly legitimate question. It does look like you've a bargain there. Ask for a receipt with the machines details on. That's all you can do. Then go have fun. Now a question on what oil to use and how much. That's a question that's been flogged to death.
  14. Noticed the montesa in national papers. Have any of the national press been invited to the day?
  15. Why don't they penalise the top rider with added weight? To level the field a bit. That way by the end of the season Bou will be non stopping a cb750 with a divers belt!!
  16. Thermal long johns. No restriction in movement and work well. Look up sealskin gloves. No reason to stop riding with the quality of available wares that are available now.
  17. That's by far the best suggestion so far. Keep em coming. What about a go slow at a trial. A piece of land. 2 lines. Start at one end. Last man to the other side wins? Heckling is allowed. No u turns. Instant ko for a dab? No stopping?
  18. Watching telly. Texting mates. Discussing ideas how to raise money for charity utilising a trials bike? Or any motor bike? Lands end to john o groats anyone? On a ty80? What's the best idea the forum can come up with?
  19. Hi. Try Paul here for any parts. He may be able to help you and is very experienced. http://www.cottonvilliersspares.co.uk Been very helpful to me.
  20. Here here.
  21. Hi. Forks can be straightened no problem. I use an air tool to spin em apart. Keep with it. Where abouts are you?
  22. Great day. I think everybody enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to the next event.
  23. That would be nice. Some real pivot pegs having downhill pedals. Why not just get clipped in?

Recommended levers for Magura type controls. Ones that last. Why is it that they are such a poor fit in the Magura brake and clutch cylinders?
  25. I do believe 07 and 06 are different. Due to new frame in 07.
