  1. This is me on a racing velo Mac I built with my dad. An absolute flying machine. Got very disalusioned with classic racing. But have to get back when I'm a bit lighter.
  2. A shock service would suffice, Steve Plain serviced my Showa and it's better than ever.
  3. Montesa 315r is well built and holds value well. Most of the machines are more than capable. Look at who is riding local to you. Trials folk are friendly.
  4. So you're implying the best mod is to lose some valves? More pics please
  5. In my experience. If my 4t didn't start. I'd hold throttle wide open for a few prods. Then close it and it will start. The 5 mins you're waiting is for the excess fuel to evaporate. Or don't crash. Simples
  6. Motors TV getting a bashing again. To be fair they cover thunder sport uk well but the trials coverage is testicles!
  7. It gets worse. Dan, I managed to walk off with your pen torch! You've gotta get back out now
  8. You found trials on motors? Try recording it and then watching in reverse?
  9. Said it before. Why are there no comparitive reviews of the machines being distributed by the importers? There is no incentive for the manufacturers to improve the machine as the public only have the new graphics and there own translated press release in order to make an educated decision with a costly investment. Red is faster!
  10. Has anybody used one? I know a thicker gasket can be used but that alters port timing too.
  11. Tubby trials team at button oak this Sunday. Practice and tea
  12. Great night last year. Waited till the end watching the riders and Albert was great, he walked up to the fans and had pics taken and seemed a very nice guy.
  13. trials is good Wish I'd started younger Ask any question just don't bring up pre65 eligibility and you'll be fine!
  14. I know where there is a good old bulto like that for sale. PM me and I'll forward a number. He's not online to my knowledge.
  15. If you insist on straightening it then get an adjustable spanner. Adjust it to the thickness of the disc and give it a tweak. The bigger spanner the better so as to spread the force along the disc.
  16. The disc has nowt to do with wheel run out. Take pads out. Then you'll see if disc is bent. It can be straightened.
