  10. Chris Edwards trials park is about the only place we have in the eastern centre which you can ride at on a daily basis. Its located at Corton just north of Lowestoft, Not a huge place but there are things there to suit all levels of rider, Youth B champ Jack Sheppard uses it on a regular basis for practice. Think Chris charges about

  12. I dont care about the copyright, i just want one of those lego Dougie Lampkin's, haha And on a serious note yes i think this could well be Doug's last indoor season, make sure you get your self to Sheffield and give him a big cheer in January.

  15. Narita was on the Honda back then, not sure what model though? Does look good, not quite as nice as eddy's rothmans bike, man i want one of those!!
  16. Recently uploaded action from a some japanese indoor events from 1990 - 91 And even better the legend Eddy Legeune during an indoor event back in 1986, how good did he look on that rothmans honda back then. Also interesting to note just how far indoor events have come over the past 20 years.

  20. I ride because i enjoy it but competition is important, i want to perform to the level i know i can ride at if that makes sense. Riding in practice is always good fun but i do enjoy the excitement of competition too. I think here in the eastern centre we are split between riders who are either in it for fun and those who are there to win, can cause problems sometimes unfortunately.
  21. I love the original "Dougie" version but this is just as good- for different reasons. As soon as i move out im trying this, cant see me parents letting me try it,haha Best thing i've seen for ages!!
  22. If they did i would have them by now.haha No sadly the BBC have never released them onto DVD and have no plans to in the imediate future. Even Peter Purves couldnt help me on that one when i asked him. There are quite a few episodes floating about on youtube and sometimes on ebay if you are lucky, take a look.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J9uOmWuKr0...feature=related http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...885468051222934 It is posible to visit the site where it was filmed, as i did today as its only a couple of miles from silverstone where i was watching the F1 testing.
  23. I did contact Peter Perves about this but he said sadly due to his age he had forgotten most of the winners, he did however give me some contact details for some people who maybe able to help. But yes rather a surprise to hear that him and Valerie Singleton where having a bit of ding dong duiring there blue peter days. guess you never know what happens when the cameras are off.
  24. Another short clip here featuring Dougie during his heat in 1991 , this was from the final series filmed at Bay farm near towcester just down the road from the original kickstart site at easton neston. short clip but worth watching. was seriously muddy there too.
