  1. You will have a blast at Ryans school.TTC trials training days in March is another good one to make.
  2. Same on above. If you make it to Oklahoma give me a shout,P.M. I have to work the 25th but off 2 days before and two days after. TTC is an awesome place to ride in Tenn.
  3. Stopped by the trials today with Mike McCabe, excellent weather and got to visit with a lot of friends. Those who left because of a few rain drops missed a great day of riding ! Time to sleep it's been a long weekend.
  4. I know $300 or so is a hard pill to swallow on boots but it's more then $300 it's a piece of protection just like a helmet ! I do like the black and natural oiled combination look.
  5. Re-torquing could help but I believe you will need to clean the oil off of the head surface and 3 piece gasket first.
  6. I had good luck doing 3 different bikes by replacing the head gasket, making sure every surface is oil free before reinstalling, using a small amount of a product like Yamaha bond or Honda bond on the cam chain cover and torque everything to spec. Worked for me.

    Beta 300 jets

    It helps when people list were they are from. In the U.S. try sudco, I loaned a few out and waiting for there return.

To answer the question about the factory pipe- When I had my 2009 300 and added the factory pipe it was all good, just a "slight" raise in sound, a little deeper and a little more power from bottom up. Miss that sound and would do it again in a heart beat. I don't think the sound would bother any one the bike is very quit stock, again just a little deeper. I would like to hear the Arrow.

    Pilot Jetting

    You take the pilot jet out and look at the number it has stamped on it.
  10. On my 2010 I tried a 9t which made 1st good for about 5 ft. after 15 minutes I put the stock counter back on and find 1st -3rd to be fine. I do agree 6 speed gear box would be nice. Cope were on earth did you get going fast enough to use 4th ? I thought 3rd was fast enough for you !

  12. That's an easy question ! Ask your local dealer to contact the importer, Beta offers a bolt on flywheel weight. Do a little research and you will find that beta offers several factory goodies.

You will need a few parts, case, water pump seal, case gasket, shift shaft seal, kick starter seal the new case doesn't have these seals and if you bend one taking it out you'll wish you would have ordered them, You will have to look at your pump cover to make the call on if you need a new on.
  14. Getting a spring wound is not that bad, do some research on the web. I tried the TRP shock for a 09 and back on the 2010 doesn't fit. Back the cost of a new spring out of the cost of a new TRP and it makes the cost cheaper for a new shock. The TRP is a very nice shock, it just looks sexy all by itself ! I have a heavier spring somewhere, what is the size of your spring ie inside,outside and length ?

    Sherco St 2011

    Looks like a lot of changes to the motor as shercogeezer pointed out. I was going back and forth from the computer to the garage looking at my 2010 yesterday. Center cases,clutch,water pump,radiator hose are just the viable changes you can see. Nice teaser photo !

    I must have missed it, didn't see the BS. I read the CLASS that they had to work together as a team to help each other, nice concept.
  17. I put the accessory exhaust that the Beta factory offers on my 08 Rev that I had and it worked wonderfully. Just a little louder then stock so it's still quiet and pulls a little more from bottom to top. If you put the 300 cylinder the bike works even better !

    2011 Evo Changes?

    Still a little early, hopefully soon. There is a worked over 125 coming.
  19. Maybe S3 ? or have a stock head machined into a high compression head.
  20. Could it have been a replacement frame ? Maybe the original one broke and has been replaced. If so there should have been some papers showing that ? Just thoughts. And yes you would be able to see the frame numbers after powder coating as said above.
  21. A short piece of renthal handle bar say 1/2"-5/8" or so will press on nicely. I haven't ever seen a replacement tip for the shifter in the U.S., good luck.
  22. That's the spring I used here works great , the lightest spring will bounce. I used 27.5p- 120m. Clip second from the top with the thin washer under, fuel 50/50 race and pump and used the jitsie fuel screw and loved it. Were are you at on jetting now Billy?
  23. Billy- I measured my springs-.029-.027-.026-.023-.022 I ran .026 at 800ft.-4000ft. for faster throttle response and .022 at 4000ft. and up.
