  1. Found the problem, phoned Highland leisure and there not taking responsibility.
  2. didnt see any, but in the program theres ment to be 2 of them. But Border Bikes had plenty of xispa stuff on the stand. Got the pics of the sherco but cant find my usb cable,
  3. There is one on display at the scottish this year, over on rathmells stand, right next to the service tent. I will take some pics today during before the parade and post them here!!!!
  4. ummm I was looking at the videos of that section, is that an aftermarket silencer.
  5. i dont think i ever willl actually
  6. ummmm i have 4 years to get that strong
  7. sounds like my beta, now my new shercos at it to, giving up trials 3 bikes in a row problems within 3 or 4 weeks
  8. all i can say for now is phone birketts again and haggle. or if you are coming up here for the scottish have a look around the scorpa service tent and ask if they have any, even with slight damage
  9. that i must admit was a great trial. over 130 riders. I decided to walk the many miles over towards blackwater and came across a certain mate of mine who had ran out of fuel and ended up pushing the bike the last 3.5 mile to the end
  10. unlucky man. dont give up trials just ride it whenever you have time. i had to spend 5 months out of trialing due to an operation on my spleen so just hang in there bud. jamie
  11. Errrrmmmm jokers by any chance? The reserves not met neither. im going to be keeping an eye on this to see which lucky bidder can afford that.
  12. well, beta rev-3's only go for rev-3's between 2002 (later model) and now scorpas, great bikes, easy to dampen the power on but stock have plenty of low end power. with the gasser's go for a 200 pro. Heard They are the most reliable of the gas gas range. Tyz? umm not so sure about this. yes you can get them quite cheap but they are very very heavy compared to newer bikes. My old man has one. he never has problems with the bike and it can sit for a few months and start first/second kick. Number 1 choice though has to be montessas if you can pick one up cheap. they may weigh slightly more than most bikes but are very durable and are very good for finding the grip in almost all situations!
  13. Make your own. or you will be able to pick a decent montesa for around
  14. oh theres a bit of dust. better brush it off before theres another and makes your bike heavy again. only joking mate. would you do my sherco 125 because that is one neat job! would wavy discs reduce it more? well done and thanks for sharing.
  15. Ski jacket, breathable, warm, can fit into a bag quite nicely without too much effort.
  16. well. 1 rider- knowing where to put your weight is the main thing then throttle control. 2 tyres- i go for the michelin radials. plenty of grip on anything- wet rocks, wet grass, river beds and mud 3 bike- hmmm tough one. My 2001 Beta went every where you wanted it to. But in my opinion nothing can beat a sherco. well balanced and light enough for you to control if you get into $%&t with it. 4 grip- You need a good conbination of those three to make number four-grip
  17. Och thats a shame but i suppose the law is the law. i see where your coming from on this one john. oh and by the way are you one of the nevis radio presenters that are down at the parc ferme every morning john?
  18. well first of all. put the bike in gear and ride it as if doing some slow speed turns! Then you need to put it up and down through the gears using the clutch on each change! If that doesnt work you will probably be heading to buy a new clutch so try this. put in top gear. 5th on a stock sherco 125 gearbox. and try keeping the clutch in with throttle half open. If none of that free's it up i have no idea what will! do all that on the paddock stand with the back wheel off the ground jamie!
  19. Year after year the riders kids travel from across the world to watch there parent(s) ride! At the sunday parade the Police really annoy me and undoubtedly others by coming up and removing. the cheif inspector actually gave permission for them to ride up the street on mums and dads bikes. But one rather grumpy and unthoughtful PC Hire takes objection to this coming along and removing the kids! upsetting not just them but ruining the whole mood for the start of an excellent event. any thoughts here please. jamie
  20. Oh aye. Hadn't thought of that. I will definately be down there on sunday watching. Where in Kinloch is it? Or will there be signs and so on
  21. well to be honest (i put cant be a****d) i havent learnt yet. my old bike was an 01 beta 250cc weighin 73kg. had trouble getting that thing out the garage let alone hopping it. My new bike is perfect but still cant hop properly. i can move the front around an inch at a time on flat ground and then lose balance after about 5 hops. cant move the front atall in sections. The back i havent even tried yet. any help? jamie
  22. hmmm im not sure! gas gas normally manage the week. so do sherco's. werent rover taken over by a chinese firm last year just before the anouncment of these xispas? truth here i reckon they will do very well. The chinese and japanese riders are normally very good so why cant the bikes be? jamie
