Sometimes floats stick, gently tap the float bowl and it might be ok.
Failing that , clean the carb.

Rings should not show any sign of wear after 200 hrs if you keep air filter clean and oiled, and use quality 2 stroke oil at sensible ratios.

Also means your finger is at full stretch, making your finger work harder and tire faster. Which is why dog legged leavers were developed, best of both worlds.

Used to be a trial at St Mary's Loch years ago (Ernie Page broke his collar bone there) a good piece of ground if its the same place, but its all good in that area. Pity it clashes with Bedlington as its also a really good trial.

Tape over the sight glass !

Weld both sides, buff down outside.

No stop scoring is simple compared to the off side rule, whatever that is.
