Spark came and went on the bike I had borrowed (TD's) I thought it was fuel to and had the carb off 3 times.
The replacement ignition has now also failed.
Might well be carb, but worth considering ignition.
Hi Javier
How are the Spanish riders accepting the new rules ? Hopefully it will encourage some previously un-competative bikes back out with the handicap system leveling the playing field.
Paul - How do you stand on introducing a similar system ? As always, it policing it that's the hard bit.
Merry Crimbo to you all.

"Same for the brakes. Original hubs and levers, the use of levers from a more modern model will determine the handicap. "
I assume that replica hubs are ok in per 65 for the same reasons as exhaust ? Although Whitton hubs have 36 spokes and fewer sprocket mounting bolts.
Just had a look in Rupert Ratio but cant see anything specific.
Trying to work it out, but would it not have to be a left hand thread ?
Doesn't follow that it is.

Haven't used him as not my part of the world, but might be worth a call.
The needle valve is what the floats act upon to stop the petrol entering the float bowel. If this is sticking for any reason, dirt or damage, the float bowl will flood.
Needle valve in carb not closing fully ? Causing flooding when stopped ?
I would change the plug and condensor as well, cheap and rules them out.
I take it its still on points ?
